Aidan Gimbel, et al. v. American Radiology Services, Inc., et al.

In this medical malpractice / wrongful birth case, a radiologist failed to recognize multiple signs of a chromosomal abnormality on a prenatal sonogram performed at approximately 20 weeks of gestation. The child subsequently was born with Down Syndrome. In the case, my clients sought to recover the lifelong medical and other care needs of the child. After a two-week trial, a Baltimore jury returned a $7.6 million verdict in favor of my clients.
