I had the unfortunate opportunity to work with Elizabeth Farrell Oberlin recently on a case involving my former employer of over a decade. I had actually been on the opposite side of a legal matter and was impressed with her representation of that client so much that when it came time that I needed an attorney, she was one of my first calls. From the very beginning, Liz worked tirelessly on my behalf at all hours of the day and/or night. She frequently took my calls and when I got voicemail I also got a call back from her rather quickly. Liz gave me priceless advice from the very start and even before I actually retained her as my attorney. If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing legal advice or representation as it relates to your employment, I honestly wouldn't recomend calling anyone other than Elizabeth Oberlin. While the end result of my case wasn't exactly what I wanted, it was close, and only close because of Liz's hard work and dedication to my case. It was obvious from day 1 that Liz was not just another lawyer looking for a pay check, but she actually cared about my case, my situation and about me. She is very knowledgable of the law as it relates to employment matters and will fight for you and only you each step of the way until the case is completely resolved. Liz also does a great job of making sure that all matters are handled as promised and the case is only concluded/her job is only done, when all the details and items from the case have been completed. She was punctual, organized and attentive to my needs and desires. I would and will recomend Liz without hesitation to anyone in need of legal advice or representation regarding employment matters.

I'll start off by saying that in my household, Elizabeth is referred to as the "Super Lawyer". An incredibly trustworthy person. Elizabeth handled my case in the best possible fashion and got me more than I could have ever asked for! Working with many lawyers in the past I noticed right away how responsive and aggressive with my case Elizabeth was. She always kept me posted on my case and was extremely knowledgeable in and out of her field. She was truly a blessing for my family and me. Very easy to work with, understanding, and kind. I highly suggest her to anyone searching for an attorney!!

Best lawyer I have ever met, sweetest gal, really, really great. She supported me with all of her heart! I have worked with many other lawyers, and she beats them all. She will always be the best.

After more than two decades with a company I have always been grateful to work for I was terminated. I spent several months going through various legal processes to get my job back. When all this failed I picked up the yellow pages and contacted Liz. Right from the start she was compassionate, caring, understanding, and very knowledgable. She was up front and HONEST with me. She was my last hope giving me the ability of restoring my livlihood and taking care of my family. I will be forever thankful for what she has done for me!

From the very first conversaton that I have with Liz and explaining what had happened to me; she was VERY professional and made me immediately feel at ease. We won the case but most importantly, she is a power horse that has an awesome drive! I referred her to another (2) friends that they were VERY happy with her too!

I found Liz on a fluke. I looked up business discrimination lawyers in the yellow pages. I just wanted a name to throw out to the company I was filing a suit against, to shake them up a bit. Then I met Liz, and she turned out to be perfect for my case and my lifestyle. No inconvenient meetings in her office, she worked with my chaotic lifestyle and we communicated mainly by phone and email.
She was professional, sweet and down to earth when she needed to be. Liz was an awesome choice! I would recommend her a million times over...

I found Ms. Oberlin in the yellow pages, didn't know a thing about her before our initial meeting. I came away impressed with her knowledge of the law and the relative strengths and weaknesses of my case. She kept me in the loop and accepted my input on strategy without being dismissive or condescending. The whole process of negotiating an employment settlement with my former employer took about seven or eight weeks, an eternity to me at the time, but pretty reasonable in retrospect. My only criticism was she could have been a little better about returning calls in a timely fashion, but was possible trying to keep the billable hours lower. I was very satisfied with the outcome, and because I went with the option of billing by the hour vs. the contingency option, I was also happy to see she was very reasonable and did not bill me for everything conceivable, as has been my experience with other attorneys. I give her an A or A- overall, I would use her again.
