Mark is a very knowledgeable, professional and hard working attorney. He worked very hard to resolve our privacy case.
I highly recommend him.

I retained Atty Guralnick to assist us in dealing with a complex set of business issues and a set of previous attorneys that completely mis-handled our business dispute. Atty Gurelanick and his staff exhaustively committed themselves to understanding the issues and guided us to success. Atty Guralnick's professionalism and commitment was exactly what we needed. He delivered when others failed.

Mark S. Guralnick represented me -- and continues to represent me -- in my never-ending divorce and post-divorce case in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. My case was a very complex case involving three children entering college in two countries, a house entering foreclosure, an able-bodied, highly-employable husband who willfully quit working, several very valuable pension and annuity funds valued in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, and at least two dozen other very significant property, financial insurance, and tax issues affecting our family.
Mark was not my first lawyer -- I had a falling out with her -- and then, perhaps naïvely, I tried to represent myself, By the time I hired Mark, he was thrown into a fire: My husband's lawyer was breathing fire, the judge had become increasingly impatient and intolerant, multiple contempt motions had been pending, and a trial date had been set.
Mark put on his suit of armor! He transformed, like some kind of superhero, into a courtroom commando. He took control of the witness stand, the evidence, the works. We didn't win everything we wanted, and my ex-husband hasn't even obeyed the orders that were entered against him. HOWEVER, Mark has stood by my side every minute since I hired him.
In fact, now three years since the judge divorced us, even as we continue to fight my ex-husband in the Norfolk County Family Court, Mark has been successful in getting annuity funds released to me, extending my children's right to support and eligibility for other benefits. He has provided timely strategies on when and how to file motions and what to ask for, in order to beat my deadbeat husband at his own game.

We have used Mark S. Guralnick as our attorney for a number of legal issues and have always found that he offers straight down-to-earth common sense, with just the right dose of textbook legal expertise that we need to know. As husband and wife, he has kept us out of financial trouble on more than one occasion by helping us make prudent decisions in business and in family financial planning.
Not too long ago, our son was injured after an accident. This was one of the scariest things that ever happened in our family. When it happened, we were freaking out. Mark came right to our house --- how many lawyers actually make house visits! He met with us, calmed us down, and when we had to actually file a lawsuit, he walked us through the entire process.
It meant a lot to us that he took the time to explain the process to us, to educate us on the legal system and to ask all the right questions. His level of involvement, we think, is a reflection of how he handles cases, and that's what we look for in a lawyer.

People talk about race discrimination and sex discrimination and age discrimination all the time, but I was a victim of a kind of discrimination that you don't hear about very often these days, especially in a public school -- religious discrimination! What's worse is that I'm an adult, not a child, and I was returning to school to train for a second career after a successful career as a teacher myself. There are not many lawyers who know how to handle a religious discrimination case, or who even know how to get started with such a claim.
I brought my case to Mark S. Guralnick. The first thing you need to know is that Mark is not just a lawyer. He is a constitutional scholar--- he has a Ph.D. in addition to his law degree and he eats up these kinds of discrimination issues that involve civil rights violations and equal protection of the law. We spent many hours together developing a theory of the case, and what emerged was a finely-crafted lawsuit. We filed the lawsuit in the federal court system. Although we
were confronted with immediate opposition from the school and their lawyers, I am to say that we got them to put money on the table. They not only paid my damages, but ended up refunding 100 percent of all of the money I ever paid in tuition.

My husband hired Mr. Guralnick to represent him in a malpractice suit against an attorney. Mr. Guralnick's expert representation lead to our receiving a settlement. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of representation.

I first met Mark S. Guralnick when he was a news reporter and I was a photojournalist more than 30 years ago. In the years that have followed, I’ve watched him progress from a fine journalist to a budding lawyer to a seasoned lawyer. In those years, Mark has represented me and my family in many different kinds of cases.
He has traveled across the country, appearing in federal courts, state courts, and municipal courts on my behalf; he has helped us in times of crisis and need and provided valuable counsel in times of turmoil and confusion. Because I know Mark as a news reporter first, I also know that he has an investigative edge about him – an innate, impulsive, inquisitive aspect that impels him to hunt down information until he gets what he wants. I watched him do this year after year as he won news-writing awards for his investigative journalism. He quite obviously applies the same approach to how he practices law. Years ago, as we prepared for a trial in federal court, I remember his intensity as he rehearsed me continuously for my day in court, practicing questions on me, cross-examining me, making sure I knew what to say no matter what the other lawyer asked me on the witness stand. I must say that I’ve always felt comfortable. I’ve always felt prepared.
I don’t live or work near Mark S. Guralnick anymore, but I wouldn’t think of using another lawyer.

My wife and I filed suit after a bad accident case. We found ourselves embroiled in the court system with no experience and no idea how long the process would take. Mark Guralnick patiently explained the process to us. At first we were reluctant to go to court. But Mark prepared us, totally and thoroughly, and the way he handled the entire process gave us tremendous confidence. In the end, we were able to settle the case in our favor. We walked away with money in our pockets. I also have to say that despite what some people say, I do have more respect for the way the legal system works, when it works the right way, as it did for us.

I've retained Mark S. Guralnick for serious cases on a number of occasions, and I am happy to report that we have had favorable outcomes on every occasions. On one occasion some years ago, I was seriously injured in the parking lot of a retail establishment. I was laid up with injuries for quite some time. Mr. Guralnick fought hard for me, found the responsible parties, sued them, and recovered damages on my half. On another occasion, when I lost my job and tried to collect unemployment, and my employer tried to stop me from doing so, Mr. Guralnick fought for me, presented evidence in my favor, and we won that case too. I can go on with a number of other examples...but the fact is that we always seem to succeed because Mr. Guralnick approaches my cases with a level of preparedness and tenacity....and that's why I keep going back to him for my legal issues over the years.

Mark is a very nice, pleasant person who listens to your case well and try to accomplish your expectations to your fullest satisfaction in the best possible honest and correct way. He is extremely knowledgeable and qualifies as an outstanding Attorney. It is confirmed by being the author for many books. Therefore he knows exactly the BEST WAY to handle your case for a successful end. Since his arguments and requests are logically very true & correct with proofs it is impossible for the other party to deny his arguments and therefore he automatically becomes the winner. That is the main reason why we should hire a good attorney.
After consulting many other attorneys in NJ, I can strongly recommend Mark is the BEST suitable attorney I ever found to handle my divorce. He is a MASTER in this field! In every court appearance his arguments were fully accepted and we moved to a winning end.
