I have been working with Nancy for the past several years and have sought her legal advice in connection with many aspects of my business. She has always been extremely knowledge and resourceful and provided me with insight that even I had not previously thought of. She always makes herself available to me, whether it is in the evenings or weekends. I have been thrilled with her services.
Nancy Baumgarten did an excellent job handling my case. She got me a fantastic result and I could not have picked a better attorney to work with. She always took the time to explain to me where things stood. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an attorney.
Send me a list of questions that were mostly not relevant to the case. All she had to do was write a 2 page Demand Letter to company but instead spent hours asking me irrelevant questions. After I sent my responses then she lied and said she had not received my emails. Said she needed another 2 weeks to write the letter after having had 3 weeks. Then said she couldn't write the letter that week because she was going out of town on vacation. Then called me and resigned from the case because she said she couldn't get the letter written and then sent an email to me the next day stating we had mutually agreed to the termination which was not true. I hired a new lawyer who wrote the letter the day I hired him in 1and 1/2 hours. Nancy's tactic was just to bill me meaningless hours to make money. I have filled an ethics complaint at the State Bar of Georgia because of her behavior.
Last summer I needed the help of an employment attorney. It was the first I had ever needed legal help and I unsure about what to do.
I reached out to the Bar Association of Atlanta where I was referred to Nancy. She took on my case and was very personable and helpful. She kept me informed every step of the way.
In addition to this I appreciated how mindful she seemed to be about billable hours. I had heard horror stories from friends and family about lawyers who would charge for every single thing - conference calls, faxes, etc. But I was very happy with how efficient she was with her time and how this was tracked in the easy to understand invoices I would receive from the accounting department.
Nancy was a great attorney, she followed up with me through email or phone consistantly. I always knew where my case was going. I will use her again for any other cases with her practice.
I came to Fidlon law unsure of what to do in regards to an EEOC charge I filed against my prior employer for various forms of harassment and discrimination. I had never been through legal proceedings before and I knew that I needed help. I wanted to make sure that I was able to stand my ground and prevent my prior employer from hurting others in the future. It was also important that my attorney made me feel comfortable when I communicated all of the embarrassing situations my prior employer had put me in. I feel that Nancy treated me with respect and did actually as I wanted-she made me feel comfortable when communicating the harassment I went through. She wrote a very professional and accurate letter addressing my claims to my prior employer. I believe this letter helped me gain a settlement higher than I expected. I would definitely recommend Nancy and Fidlon Law to my closest business colleagues.
Nancy is a great Lawyer. She is very knowledgable. She went above and beyond to help us resolve our situation. I would reccommend her anyday.
