I focus my practice on taxation and wealth planning for both businesses and individuals. This practice is composed primarily of wills and trusts, estate administration (probate), and estate litigation, but also involves a considerable amount of tax consulting for business formations, restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to the aforementioned practice areas, I am licensed to practice in the United States Tax Court and I handle tax controversies and IRS disputes for the firm.
I have had the great privilege of having learned under the tutelage of incredibly knowledgeable and gifted attorneys, many of them “Super Lawyers” in their respective states. Moreover, I have considerable experience drafting estate plans ranging from simple wills to complex multi-trust estate plans for wealthy individuals, and have played key roles in mergers and acquisitions of business entities ranging from family-owned to multi-national in scope.
I am guided by my Christian principles and believe that every person is of great value, which motivates me to always put forth my best effort as my client's advocate and legal counselor. Lastly, I have found that one of the best ways of achieving success and satisfaction for my clients is to conduct myself in a positive and respectful manner toward other attorneys, judges and court personnel. However, at no time does this interfere with my aggressive pursuit of my client's goals.
