Jonathan managed to get two charges of second degree retail fraud dropped - a task that I assumed was impossible, and would be for most lawyers.
I could not have picked a better lawyer in terms of professionalism and the ability to get what needs to be done completed.
There is a "no BS" mentality when dealing with Jonathan that is hard to come across. He simply knows what needs to be done and helps you get there.
If you want the best, clear, helpful solution to getting a legal issue solved, then look no further! Simply not a question if you are serious about your future.

I was being accused of domestic violence. I am not a U.S citizen and just found a new job in the U.S. Any immigrant, if any crime convicted, will face the serious immigration issue including the possibility of being deported. It is a very serious moment in my life. I found Jonathan and contacted him on a Sunday night. He replied me very quickly and professionally in only 5 minutes. Although I did not meet him in person at the moment, I felt he is very trustworthy so I decided to cooperate with him. The result is awesome - my case was finally dismissed after our comprehensive plan was put in place. I can stay in the U.S, start my new job and have no legal issue anymore - it's just like nothing happened. I really appreciate his help.

I got arrested for an OWI (Operating While Intoxicated) in Ypsilanti in January of 2015. I went online and found Kelly & Kelly and emailed Jonathan about my situation and he emailed me back not even 10 minutes later saying he could help me. Jonathan immediately gave me a program to follow which consisted of AA meetings, 50 hours of community service, and attending a MADD meeting (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). I did exactly what Jonathan recommended I do. Before I went to court he had recommended I take a Substance Abuse Assessment, in which I also did. Jonathan said we were going to plead to the lower charge of Driving While Visibly Intoxicated and try to keep my license from day one. Jonathan met with me about a week before my court date and told me exactly what was going to happen at court, and what the judge was going to say, and he told me to act confident and not nervous. This helped ALOT knowing what to expect. On my court date Michael Kelly came with me because Jonathan had an emergency felony case, but Jonathan made sure I was in good hands. Michael Kelly was also amazing and had a great statement to the judge about how I did AA meetings, community service, a MADD meeting, and a substance abuse assessment. I walked out of the court room with the lower charge of Driving While Visibly Impaired, only a restricted license, and NO PROBATION!!! Michael said he has never had a case where someone charged with drunk driving has no probation at all so that was amazing. These two were extremely helpful, confident, and comforting along the way and helped make this awful experience a much better one. If you are smart enough to hire either of these guys make sure you DO EXACTLY WHAT THEY TELL YOU AND FOLLOW THE PROGRAM THEY GIVE YOU!!!

In March 2015, my 19 year old son called me because he had gotten into trouble. While out of town for dinner in Novi, he turned right at a red light (which was prohibited). He was pulled over and the police officer asked if he had marijuana. He was truthful that he and his girlfriend did indeed have a small amount. They were arrested for possession, his car was impounded and they stayed in jail until they could be bailed out. Neither had been in trouble like this before and they were scared. Fearing that a conviction would result in a drug charge on his record, I sought an attorney who would be able to help him take responsibility for his actions but that his punishment not follow him for the rest of his life. I contacted a couple different attorneys who looked like they had a successful history defending cases like this. As I understood it, Oakland county is very strict in these situations. Ultimately, my husband, son and I felt like Jonathan met our needs. We liked his proactive approach. His approach was very beneficial for my son as well. He was able to grow as a person during the process and had learned a very valuable life lesson about one of the consequences of drugs. When they finally went to court, after meeting with a probation officer for his sentencing suggestions, the outcome was very successful. My son is on probation for 9 months, drug tests every other Monday, and ten hours of community service. Most importantly, there was dismissal of drug charges, a factor which could prevent him from obtaining employment or renting a apartment, etc in the future. Our family is very thankful we hired a proven lawyer who had our son's best interest in mind. He didn't just want to get him out of trouble, but wanted to make sure he learned a lesson and grew as a person. I would definitely recommend Jonathan Paul!

I'm in my last year of college and got charged with 3rd Degree Retail Fraud. This was my first offense and arrest. I contacted Jonathan Paul right away and he set forth a game plan for how to approach this. His program does require work from you but trust and believe that doing that work IS worth it and doing it before your trial is imperative. In the end I getting my charges dismissed after 6 months probation and it won't be on my record at all. I couldn't have asked for a better result and throughout the ordeal I was reassured and stress free.

I was arrested for 3rd degree retail fraud in Sterling Heights. At that moment I was devastated. Not only was I at risk of losing my job but also at risk for not being accepted into the master's program at my college. Immediately after I was released I searched for lawyers and found Jonathan Paul's website.
After working with him the amount of gratitude I feel toward Jonathan and the service he provided can't be put into words. When I first contacted him he responded immediately and every time after that (even when he was out with his family). During my pretrial/arraignment, the judge was impressed that i was proactive and had completed steps to show I was a productive member to society. All the Thanks can go to Jonathan's proactive approach. I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with him. His proactive program really works and you can be sure he will fight for you. "You only get one chance to defend yourself". I remembered that statement when i was in court, in front of the judge, as Jonathan highlighted everything I had done since my arrest and remember thinking how satisfied I was Jonathan was the one defending me. Instead of jail time I earned 6 - 12 months of non-reporting limited probation and a dismissal at the end of my probation period. (6 months if my probation is not violated)
My sentence shows his program works and I know you will also benefit from Jonathan defending you. If you need exceptional results he's the right person to have standing right beside you at court.

I'm a freshman at the University of Michigan and I received an MIP at a party in February. I was scared and angry and I didn't know what to do. Jonathan helped put my mind at ease and ensured me that this was just a little speed bump on in my college experience. He had me take measures before my trial (such as community service and an alcohol education course) that I would've otherwise had to do after my pretrial anyways. He was very quick at responding to my emails and always answered all of my questions with great knowledge. I would recommend him to everybody. Thanks again Jonathan.

I was charged with my second Retail Fraud in the city of Troy. Troy does not take retail fraud lightly, because they have two malls and see it constantly. Every lawyer I consulted told me they could not keep retail fraud off my record besides Jonathan. He helped me to do what other lawyers said was impossible. He has a unique proactive program which I believe did make a diffrence in my sentence. I was charged with disorderly conduct in the end.

John made it very easy for me to figure out what I wanted to do during my situation. He made me feel confident and I knew I could trust him. It was also clear that he knew what he was doing. I'm glad that I chose him to represent me and I would choose him again if ever needed.

I was arrested for a DUI in Ann Arbor this past October. I had a previous offense from another state that was going to come into light. I had registered a blood alcohol level above the .17 limit for Michigan, and so I was facing stiffer charges. I hired Mr. Paul once a court date had been scheduled. Right from the beginning, he came across as very knowledgeable, and put me at ease with the process. He immediately came up with a proactive plan to help my position with the court. By making the most of the time in between court dates with testing, community service, and counselling we were able to get a reduced charge, a much more favorable sentence, and probably saved me from being charged with a felony and keeping me out of jail. I appreciated Jonathans style, and demeanor during the entire process. I would not hesitate to recommend him for anyone who is in a similar situation.
