About me

If you have been accused of a crime in Dayton, Ohio, look no further than Attorney Jeremiah Denslow. He is a trial lawyer with years of experience in this area of law and is known as an aggressive legal advocate. His main goal is to protect the best interests of his clients and fight to get their charges completely dropped. A longtime resident of Dayton, he graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2001. While there, he was a member of the Moot Court Team and took part in the Judicial Extern Program.

What makes Attorney Denslow unique is the fact that he has experience on both sides of the courtroom. Before working as a defense attorney, he worked in the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Officer. As an assistant prosecuting attorney, he was able to gain valuable hands-on experience in criminal law and learn how the courtroom operated. When Attorney Denslow worked as a prosecuting attorney, he was also able to litigate a number of cases, including juvenile cases and serious felony cases. With his vast understanding of the different of aspects of the courtroom, he is now able to better defend his clients who have been accused of crimes.

He is a member of the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has been trained on several types of defense tactics. He is able to try cases in Ohio as well as in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Legal cases
Case nameOutcome
Felony sex offenses dismissedDismissal of felony charge. The case was reduced to a couple of misdemeanors that were NOT sexual in nature. As a result, my client walked away from the case with no incarceration at all, and a period of probation that will likely only last six months.
Criminal charges dismissedDismissal. After extensive discussions with the prosecutor, she agreed to dismiss the case a few days before trial so long as my client would complete a diversion program.
No prison time for serious felony chargeNo prison time. I was able to work the case out with the prosecutor to the client’s satisfaction. While my client had to admit to a low level felony, he got most of the charges dismissed and avoided prison altogether.
