Mr. Kaloyanides represented me for a federal felony indictment which included numerous drug trafficking charges and I was very disappointed in this attorney's services to put it nicely. First of all, he came to me early on with what I considered to be a very bad plea deal from the DA without having even looked at the evidence of the case. I refused the offer. Next, Mr. Kaloyanides did not come to see me in jail to discuss my case for over 2 months and this really made me mad because my family had attempted to contact him numerous times on my behalf without any success. When he finally did come see me he was unprepared to answer any of my questions and stayed for no longer than 15 minutes. In addition, this lawyer had problems making it to my court dates and was late two times with no apparent excuse. In my opinion this lawyer did not put forth the proper amount of time needed to adequately handle my case and tried everything he could to get me to take what I considered to me bad plea deals offered by the DA. As much as I wanted to believe in this guy I honestly felt he did not care about helping me reach a successful and acceptable outcome for my case and I also felt I could not trust him to defend me properly should I take my case to trial and that was the direction I thought we were heading based on the DA's bad faith plea deal offers. After discussing my concerns with my family I decided I had no choice but to fire Mr. kaloyanides as my attorney and bring in another one who fought for me tooth and nail. I cannot in good conscience give this attorney a good recommendation, just the opposite. Based on his behavior as my criminal defense attorney I suggest not hiring Mr. Kaloyanides for any type of criminal defense issues.
