It’s a chicken sandwich for 3.99 well due to high demand we have been working non stop and I havnt gotten the chance to take my lunch break or anything nor my mangers . It sucks to be in this position working and cleaning being understaff and not ready for somthing new such as this change .

George’s answer: You definitely cannot sue your Boss for being inundated by Chicken Sandwich orders. You can allege that you were denied your rightful breaks, if that was the case. Tell Human Resources that you were shorted, and I am sure they will look into the problem.

I went to the emergency room for pink eye and ear infection (i have a video ) plus a doctors note. But my job laid me off.?: I went to the emergency room for pink eye and ear infection (i have a video ) plus a doctors note. But my job (ritz carlton truckee ca) laid me off for messing to many days. I have called off 6 times but 3 of those days are from my pink eye and ear infection. My ER doctor marked me contagious for 3 days. The other 3 where for no babysitter (im a single mom). Is there anything i can do i feel it was very unfair. They all knew i was single mom working on the overnights trying my best.

George’s answer: Life is not fair. Being a Single Mom is hard, and I commend you for trying to keep all the balls in the air. That said, your marital and family status is objectively not your Employer's problem. Calling out 6 days over the course of a year is potentially a problem. Calling out 6 days within 90 days of Probationary Status is definitely a problem. A lack of babysitting is not a work problem. An ear infection is most likely not a work problem. You can consult with a Labor Attorney to see if you qualified for FMLA time, but that information is not within your facts.

Can I sue my previous employer for on the clock car accident.: I’m Disneyland we clock out 20 minutes before our actual end time. We are still technically on the clock. We are just given the “walk time” back to our vehicles. Minutes later as I drive off. I was involved in a pretty bad car accident. I was on overtime and had to clock out late due to a snag situation. Homeless bothering CastMember etc has to wait for management to come. An old coworker union rep suggested I should look into this.

George’s answer: First off, you are probably NOT Disneyland. At best you sound like a prior Cast Member. The best answer to your question is MAYBE. This will be an uphill march, and facts will matter. Were you on Disney property at the time of accident? Where were you going? How long had you been clocked out of work? When did you tell the Walt Disney Company about your accident? Had you already been fired/laid off/separated? Were you responsible for the accident? Did you receive a recovery from the accident? Were you struck by a Disney vehicle?
