Robinhood is holding my money hostage - what can I do?:
I have had a Robinhood account for over 10 years. I want to purchase some crypto, but because Chase doesn't permit debit card crypto purchase, I was going to purchase coins through my funded Robinhood account. After depositing $4,000 and purchasing some USDC as a test, when I tried to transfer the crypto to my local hardware wallet, they locked my account under the guise of security.
I sold the coins I bought and tried to transfer my money back to my originating account, which has been connected as long as I've had my account. They do not have a phone number I can call, and won't let me change the phone number on my account so they can reach me and are insisting on using an old phone number I no longer have.
What are my options to get them to release my money?

What if my grandmother bought like a savings bond for me and I no longer have access to: My grandma bought me a savings bond when I was really little. My mother sold the paper copy of whatever to my uncle. When he realized there was nothing he could do with it, he ripped them up and threw them away. It's gone forever?
Jonathan’s answer: There is a process to try to recover a lost or destroyed US Savings bond even if you do not have the serial number. Try here: https://www.treasurydirect.gov/savings-bonds/ma...
Power of Attorney?:
Hello! I'm based out of USA on a H1B visa and looking to purchase a property in India. I would like to allow my dad to have the Power of Attorney for purchasing the property.
Would you be able to guide me or direct me the steps to authorize my dad who is in India to have the Power while me being in USA ?
Jonathan’s answer: You need Power of Attorney form from India, in English, you then have it notarized and then apostilled by your state.
