However time got away from me due to a job change, a move and a terminal brother.i just happend to check the website where it shows there is a court date set for 10/15/2013! I need a continuence! Todd’s answer: My colleague is correct....you should attempt to obtain legal counsel ASAP but it also important that you show up to the October 15th hearing, explain to the judge why you have not been able to answer the complaint, and that you are actively seeking legal counsel.
I haven't seen my child in a year and don't know what else to do. Seems like the state & childs mother want to play games: I have a 1 year old child that I haven't been able to see since birth. The mother has refused to let me know their whereabouts. The courts won't tell me where they live. Attorneys can't get answers. Now it's time to pay back over a year of unpaid support yet no one will tell me where my child is and no one has granted me any visitation. Every time a date to get temporary visitation has been set, somehow it gets pushed back. The mother has been able to constantly rub my face in the fact I don't know where they live and I'll never be able to see my child. I'm nearing the end of my rope here. I don't know what to do. I understand the graduated process but I'm telling myself this should all be on track in a year. Does that make sense? I feel like I'm fighting attorneys, the state and court.
