Is it necessary to submit the Job offer letter with I-485 for religious worker adjustment status while I-360 has been approved?: Confused with whether to submit job offer letter or employment verification letter for the AOS on religious worker once I-360 is approved?
David’s answer: Yes, you should submit verification of the job offer or current employment with the I-485. Note: The religious worker provisions have sunset, so you will not be eligible to file the I-485 until extension legislation is passed.
Can professional license and certification be used as requirement for PERM job requirements if obtained after employment. :
I joined the company without prior work experience, I understand for PERM application, I cannot use experience gained at the current employer if my job duty is less than 50% different. However, can I use a professional license that was obtained after joining the company? Or is it the same thing as experience or skills?
Thank you in advance!
David’s answer: I think it depends on whether the license was obtained by performing the work the employer gave you to do. If the license was obtained by you independently of the employer, then it can be a requirement for the job offered. If the work you did satisfied a requirement for the license, then the license can't be a PERM job offer requirement.
