What if I did Use my non-authorized for work Social? Should I apply for Deferred Action?: I have previous history with three companies which I was previously employed at. I used my own social which was issued by DHS over 20 years ago as non- authorized for employment. I'm a dreamer who has been here since age three.

For survival and since I am in college I had to pay for school somehow.

Should I include my social, tax records (files as w-2) for DACA? What if I omit my social? will I have to start my Social Security history from Scratch?

Any advice helps.
Thanks.

Jacqueline’s answer: USCIS recently (9/14) updated their FAQs regarding use of a social security that is not your own. Check out their website. As attorneys have mentioned, there is a lot of debate on this issue. I would consider consulting with an immigration lawyer about the specific risks in your situation.

I have been waiting for my U visa to be answered for over a year now if my U visa is denied would i be deported?: i am getting worried because i applied for my u visa more than a year ago & i still dont have a response

Jacqueline’s answer: The wait times have increased some in the past year. My last U-visa approval came back without any request for evidence just about a year after submitting. But as others have stated, it is probably in your interest to have an attorney review your case.
