Q: Can I sue Walmart for slipping as I walk through the front door and tearing a ligament in my knee?: My very 1st step into Walmart I slipped on a brown substance like rocky road ice cream and twisted my knee and back trying to regain my balance. I didn’t fall but I felt a very sharp pain in my back and knee because I fought to keep my balance. I limped over to an isle because I was embarrassed and I was trying to stretch a little to feel better but it didn’t work. 15-20 minutes later I come back and the front door is still wet so I speak to the cashier. I looked for someone to help me other then her and 15 minutes after limping all over Walmart I finally find a store manager. (THERE WERE ONLY 1 CASHIER AND THE MANAGER IN THE STORE SMH) I went to the ER and was told I tore a legiment in my knee. Walmart took a statement and recorded me speaking of what took place. I said nothing that would jeopardize my case so I spoke of the details in which led to my injury. Of course a week later Walmart denies my case lol. So I’m here to ask do I have a case and can someone help me.
