How much does my husband who is a US citizen need to make in order to sponsor me?: In order for my husband to file 130 and other forms as a petition for me, I came to know he has to be making a certain amount of income to sponsor me while I apply for my green card. How much exactly does he need to be making? And what if he is a server? He gets his income in tips as in cash? If he does not make much to sponsor, can someone else sponsor us? And do they have to be our relative?

3 years ago I got charge " Neglect of child" and got 18 months sentence. At 2009 case was dismissal and closed.: Now I want to apply for the naturalization. My question: Can I apply for naturalization and how it affect to ability to gain citizenship?

Victor's answer: If you were convicted for child neglect it is very possible that you may go from naturalization to removal proceeding. It makes one deportable. I agree with previous counsel that you must consult with an immigration attorney before you apply.

I am a citizen, and my husband is an undocumented immigrant. How good are our chances of a waiver of the ten year reentry bar?: We have been married for nine years and have a child. He is a full time student and our primary childcare provider. He does not have any previous petitions under 245I so we've been told that he must adjust his status in juarez, at which point he's subject to the bar on reentry. How good are our chances at having a waiver of the ten year reenttry bar approved?

Victor's answer: No one can say with certainty. The success of your waiver application will depend on the "extreme hardship" that you will suffer if he is denied admission. I would suggest a case specific consultation with an immigration attorney.
