I have not received settlement Check still..What do I need to do to? I need answers: Personal injury case I Signed papers for my settlement check in 2016 my attorney told me I will receive my check within a week it’s 2022 still no check..l have called several times I leave messages still yet to talk to my attorney 3 months ago someone called me from his firm we talked about the whole situation and I was told I will receive my check by the end of the work week still no check now when I call the attorney office I’m getting the run around I leave messages no return calls back or I’m put on hold then hung up on and the person that called me from the firm 3 months ago is always busy, not in,or with a client but never return my calls or respond.,.please someone help me on what I need to do next

Is there a statue of limitations on a medical lien from hospital?: Was in an auto accident in July/2020. Insurance paid the max $25,000 in September/2020. My lawyer has had my settlement every since due to a hospital lein from 2020. Isn't there a statue of limitations on a hospital lein? The case is in Georgia.
Jonathan’s answer: In Georgia, the hospital has 1 year from a tort settlement to enforce its lien.
Would I have a case in a wrongful death suit?: My sister killed herself in prison when she was supposed to be on suicide watch
Jonathan’s answer: I pursued one of these cases and lost on summary judgment. They are very tough cases involving questions of official immunity, qualified immunity, medical malpractice etc. You should consult with an attorney to learn if there is a case.
