Connecticut does have an equitable distribution concept, but it based on the marital estate as a whole. If you can both agree that it is a pre-marital asset, you may be able to incorporate such into an agreement but if you are not on the same page, you may need to have a hearing. It would be best to consult with an attorney if you are seeking to retain one so that the appropriate arguments can be made.

Shari-Lynn’s answer: First, you need to determine what your court date is for (i.e. is it your case management date)? If so, you are not required to get divorced on that day. If you have a hearing for 6/19 and you are not ready for it, you will need to request a continuance and see if it is granted. You will either need to hire an attorney, a new mediator, or both if you have questions and do not have an agreement with your husband.
