Who do I hire to serve divorce papers in Framingham?: I have been looking online for a Sheriff or constable in or near Framingham to serve divorce papers. I don't see a sheriffs office in the area or a constable that I can go to in person. Do I have to mail the papers to the constable and pay online? Does anyone know of a place where I can walk in and pay? I don't feel comfortable mailing and paying online. Does Middlesex county have anything similar to worcester county where you can walk in, pay and they will serve and file the return of service with the court for me?
Ryan’s answer: There is a sheriff right outside the courthouse in Cambridge and I think a constable right there as well. You can use them. You can walk in to their offices as well.
I own 40% of a business. I am contemplating filing bankruptcy as I am in a legal dipute for my 40%.: My home foreclosed and i have a outstanding bal of 400k on one mtg, and a 199k judgement for an equity line. Can these creditors along with credit card collectors go after the business for the sake of recouping part of the debt

I agree with my colleagues. Bankruptcy may or may not be the best option for you but I do suggest you discuss the matter with a local bankruptcy attorney as soon as possible. Go talk to an attorney today if you can. Many offer free consultations.
Massachusetts has a lot of very good attorneys. Look for an attorney that you are comfortable with, has a good reputation, and is experienced in the area that you need help with. Also, stay away from the ones that make lots of big promises.

Does a chapter 7 personal bankruptcy filed in 2009 affect my lawsuit that I just filed based on events that occurred in 2011?: I recently filed a civil suit against someone. In his answer he stated bankruptcy as an affirmative defense which was filed in 2009 and is still pending, but the issue of my lawsuit did not arise until 2011. Does this wipe out my claim although I was never listed as a creditor or received any notice?
