Amir is a Sacramento native. He is a graduate of El Camino High School, where he was a member of the baseball team. After high school, he attended The University of California, Davis. Amir graduated with honors from UC Davis with a degree in Political Science.
Following college, Amir worked for a small local firm. While there he witnessed firsthand the burden facing individuals who had no one to advocate for their rights. This inspired Amir to leave his job and attend the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. He pulled double duty, attending classes full time during the day, and working full time at night to help support himself and to pay tuition. While in law school, Amir received The Dean’s Scholarship Award and earned honors in Trial Advocacy.
After graduation, Amir went to work as a law clerk for a prominent civil attorney in the Sacramento area. In his position, he gained valuable experience working on a wide variety of legal matters; while at the same time, learning how to best advocate for clients’ rights.
Amir enjoys golfing, attending Kings and River Cats games, and walking his beagle with the love of his life, Angela.
