About Me

Sean Brown is a trial lawyer at Power and Brown, LLC.  Sean represents clients who have been seriously injured as a result of another person's negligence.  Sean is a graduate of The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois and of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming.

Sean has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of injured clients and obtained numerous favorable results on behalf of clients facing criminal charges.  Since graduating law school, Sean has represented clients in various state courts in Illinois, Alaska, and Kentucky and been lead counsel on over 30 jury trials. He has helped hundreds of clients with complex personal injury cases, including wrongful death and police excessive force cases.  Sean has also represented hundreds of clients, who faced serious criminal charges including murder and other unclassified felonies.  In addition to his work in the trial courts, Sean has successfully litigated in the United States Court of Appeals in the Seventh Circuit.

In addition to practicing law, Sean is actively involved in the community.  He taught seminars in Employment Law, Will Preparation and Probate, and college courses in Real Estate Law and Economics though the University of Alaska.  He has served on the board of community organizations, and currently serves on the Gerry Spense Trial Lawyer's College Alumni Board.

I can recommed and endorse Sean as an Attorney without hesitation. Sean is hard working, has great attention to detail, and gets involved with the case he is working on. All of this is extremely important for his fields of practice in both Personal Injury and Criminal Law. Sean is incredibly bright and quick to see and analyze problem areas in every case. Anyone who has Sean as their Attorney should consider themself lucky.

  • Keeley D. Heath

I met Sean while attending the Spence Trial Lawyer's College for three weeks near Dubois, Wyoming in July of 2011. I was impressed with Sean right away. He has a natural talent for being a trial attorney, and more importantly, has a huge heart which he opens up to his clients. Sean's skill, combined with his drive to fight for the clients that he represents, is unstoppable in a courtroom. Sean has all of the skills and talent necessary to take a case to trial and win. I would recommend Sean Brown to anyone looking for an attorney in Alaska, whether it be for a personal injury or a criminal matter.
