About Me

Mr. Scott is a former deputy prosecutor who began his legal career in Portland, Oregon nearly ten years ago.  He is an experienced litigator, having tried cases in both state and federal court, and has successfully worked on hundreds of cases filed in Oregon and Washington.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Scott clerked at the U.S. Attorney's Office and worked for two of the West Coast's premier personal injury firms, where he worked on a number of high-profile cases generating several million dollars in trial verdicts and settlements.

In his spare time, Mr. Scott enjoys spending time with his wife, Lindsay, and their two cats (although he considers himself more of a dog person).  He is an accomplished swimmer, having competed at the national level, and is a former volunteer coach with the Vancouver Swim Club.  Mr. Scott also provides pro bono legal services to several local non-profit orgnizations, and serves on the board of a local charity that provides recreational opportunities to children who suffer from congenital heart disorders.  In the past, Mr. Scott has also spent a significant amount of time volunteering for humanitarian and environmental organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters and Trout Unlimited.
