Nancy Nellor Retsinas

About me

I help people reach durable solutions to conflict without going to court.

Difficult emotions underlie the restructuring or ending of relationships. My goal is to reduce unnecessary conflict while allowing clients the opportunity to be heard and understood, thus paving the way for creative problem-solving that supports the unique needs of each family and meets all legal requirements.

I am committed to peaceful conflict resolution for families in transition, as I have seen first-hand through my former 23-year litigation practice the results of chronic conflict on children and adults alike. I work with clients in a multitude of ways - as their Collaborative Law settlement attorney, as a neutral mediator, as a conflict coach, as lead settlement counsel in on-going litigation matters. If you are in the midst of a conflict you can't see your way out of, call me and we can talk about whether there are alternatives to court for your situation.

Wevorce certified: . Wevorce is a mediation techology company specializing in amicable divorce.

Member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals: . Collaborative law allows family members in the midst of conflict to negotiate a settlement without going to court. Collaborative Law changes the culture of conflict resolution by allowing individuals to take control of their future as opposed to leaving decision–making about their lives to a judge.
