Description:In my role as a Prosecuting Attorney I handled this matter. Defendant was charged with Attempted Murder DV, Arson in the First Degree DV, Assault in the Second Degree DV, and Felony Harassment DV. Defendant threatened to kill another person, poured gasoline over another person, and lit that person's house on fire as she was exiting with family. Defendant ultimately plead to the above charges, including Attempted Murder, and was sentenced to 17 years in prison.
