About Me

Daniel A. Himebaugh serves as counsel for the Washington State Senate Majority Coalition Caucus.  He staffs two committees: Agriculture, Water and Rural Economic Development; and Energy, Environment and Telecommunications.  Mr. Himebaugh formerly practiced law at Pacific Legal Foundation's Northwest Center, focusing on land use and environmental litigation.


 


Mr. Himebaugh’s legal scholarship has appeared in Ocean and Coastal Law Journal; Engage; The Urban Lawyer; Environmental Law; and Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary.


 


Daniel graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2009.  He was a member of the moot court team at Pepperdine, and served as the lead articles editor of Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary.  Mr. Himebaugh earned a Master’s of Public Policy degree in state and local policy from Pepperdine University School of Public Policy in 2009, where he was an editor of Pepperdine Policy Review.  Mr. Himebaugh is a 2004 Hillsdale College graduate summa cum laude in political science.
