My wife and I started the process for her Permanent Residency in March. We started by going to the USCIS website, downloading all the forms and started to fill out the information. It took a lot of time and I still had a lot of questions. I tried contacting the USCIS to talk to a person, but I wasn’t successful. A friend recommended that I hire an Immigration Lawyer because he said, “They will take care of all the paperwork and issues that may arise.” Taking his advice, I began our search for an Immigration Lawyer. An acquaintance recommended that we look for someone close to Seattle so that they could attend the Interview. And thus Lisa Seifert of Seifert Law Offices was recommended.

This was the best advice we received. We met with Lisa with all of our paperwork, forms and questions in May. She answered all our questions and correctly completed all the forms. She shared with us an approximate timeline of what should and when it would happen. After she filed our papers, things went very smoothly for us. We followed her directions and did the things that USCIS requested on time. In early August, Lisa joined us for our Interview. Because of her diligence, all the paperwork was in order. When they asked for certain documentation, Lisa was prepared and handed the package to the interviewer. She had prepared us and counseled us as to what to expect which resulted in a successful interview and now my wife has her Permanent Residency.

I met Lisa a few years ago when upon graduation I needed to change my status to be able to accept a job offer. Lisa helped me with all the required documentation, many of which was scattered or missing, and handled my case for several years in a very professional yet understanding manner. Through those years I met several people who happen to be former clients of hers who assured me I was in good hands. I also met other attorneys who shared with me their high opinions of her and her law firm. I'm glad neither were mistaken. And I am glad to be able to write this most positive review of for her in my new status of Permanent Resident. Lisa Siefert is the best immigration lawyer I've been to, she helped me preparing to processed my 10 year green card ( permanent resident card) and it took only 4 months to processed my petition and now i have my green card for 10 years. Thanks for the big help.

Lisa worked on getting a visa for a Taiwanese prospective employee for my small business. Throughout the complicated process, she gave me good guidance, not only in regard to the formalities, but also in the "sense" of how to phrase the application and supporting materials, and also in how to deal with the roadblocks along the way. we hired lisa in feb of 2005. she told us or time fram was about a yr.till the time to go to juarez.we did everything she told us to do then waited.i guess even though she told us we wouldnt pay for services until she did them she changed her mind.we had payed all money up to half of what she called step 2 (filling of i 864 form and proof of income for sponser).she also had 3 yrs of income info.since nothing was happing we payed the rest of step 2 still nothing.the months later after inquiring about it lisa told us she had (LOST) all of the income info that was very scary s.s.#s and other important info just gone!we gave her new info for the forms anyway we wanted thing to get going. we waited and waited and waited.until finally we got a letter from the N.V.C. informing us that we had been susspended and all fees would have to be payed again.lisa had not done any work at all on our case in over a yr she hadnt called or contacted the N.V.C.in a yr so they susspended us.when i asked lisa about it she lied to me and said she contacted them in feb with our change of address but according to N.V.C she had not contacted them until the day after she recieved the notice about our case. the right thing to do would be to pay the fees since it was her neglect that caused the loss and maybey a simple im very sorry this happend i will make it right .thimgs would have been ok but no way lisa refused to take any responability at all for what happend.when i asked for a copy of my file she procrstinated fror weeks then finnally sent me a few papers but not my hole file defenitly not what i had aksed for .the problems were endless we fired her and ended up out about $2000. and right where we started.
