About Me

Christina Meserve has been practicing family law in the same Olympia location since 1979. She is the only Thurston County attorney admitted as a fellow to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is one of very few divorce attorneys to be awarded the prestigious "AV" rating by Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory. She has been listed as a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law & Politics Magazine, a recognition accorded to only 5% of Washington's lawyers. Learn more by visiting www.olylaw.com.

Chris is simply one of the best attorneys I have ever known. Her knowledge of the law and her courtroom skills place her as one of the best family law attorneys our state has to offer. Her accomplishments are many and she has been dedicated to service at both the local and state level. She is zealous in her advocacy and her efforts in resolving cases outside of court. I consider myself fortunate to be able to use her knowledge and experience as a sounding board; I highly recommend Chris to anyone seeking top-notch family law representation.

I have only endorsed a few lawyers on Avvo. Not because I have a low estimation of my peers, but because the whole concept just strikes me as the new high tech version of that "good old boys" cronyism that we love to decry. When I endorse a lawyer I don't talk to them and there is certainly no quid pro quo. I will endorse Chris as a peer because she is deserving and for no other reason. She is a skillful, fierce and tireless advocate, but a punctilious professional at the same time. She cares about her clients, which is in many ways the only litmus test we need apply, but she also cares a lot about her profession and tries to model a profile that smashes the stereotypes and caricatures our culture imposes on the legal profession. She earns my unequivocal endorsement.
