About Me

Shelly K. Speir obtained her J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law, where she was a research/technical editor for the law review.  Since graduation, she has been a partner at Fraser Robinson Speir, where she has done legal research and writing for cases at all levels of state and federal court.

After focusing on real estate and land use matters as a solo practitioner for two years, Shelly joined Troup, Christnacht, Ladenburg, McKasy, Durkin & Speir, Inc. P.S. in 2000 and began practicing personal injury.  Since that time she has been named a “Super Lawyer—Rising Star” and “Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters.  She has also been named one of the “Top Attorneys in Washington” by Seattle Met Magazine.  She is an Eagle member of the Washington State Association for Justice, where she is currently serving on the Board of Governors as the Vice-President of Continuing Legal Education.

I have known Shelly for approximately ten (10) years now. She is a highly respected personal injury attorney and deservedly so. I have practiced personal injury law exclusively for the past 31 years, and have practiced a total of 32 years. I would not hesitate to recommend Shelly, or to refer prospective clients to her if a conflict or other issue prevented me from representing. Thorough, dedicated, extremely bright, aggressive when necessary, and a litigator. All of these fit Shelly. Dave Bufalini
