About me

When I moved to America for college, I started working with migrant farmworkers-helping to unionize and to make education accessible to their children. After college I lived in the Dominican Republic building aqueducts for a non-profit. In law school, I participated in a 2 year Immigration Law internship, managing a case load of asylum and U Visa clients. After graduation, I worked for a boutique law firm that specialized in business immigration visas. I also worked for several non profits-filing mandamus actions for migrant farmworker rights and running an Immigration office for Catholic Charities. After moving to the Pacific Northwest, I opened my own Immigration law firm, focussing on deportation defense, and filing asylum, U Visa, Waiver applications and appeals. Because many of our clients came to Immigration and Customs Enforcement's attention due to traffic infractions, we also represent clients who are charged with DUI's.
