I recently had to contact a lawyer about a tenent-landlord dispute. As we all know this can be a terrifying experience. I would like to say Attorney Powell made this experience a lot less tramatic. I knew my case was small potatos to a lawyer, but I needed help dealing with my crazy slumlord of a landlord. Lucky for me I called Elizabeth. She took my case and went above and beyond what I would expect. She was kind, patient, understanding, and very maticulous down to the last detail. I couldn't of asked for a better lawyer. She guided me through the entire process and even when I didn't understand what was goign on she made sure to take the time to explain everything in plain speak so I could understand.

I cannot thank Elizabeth enough or say enough good things about her. Elizabeth helped me through the emotionally draining child support process against a bitter and ruthless ex husband and his attorney. She was clearly knowledgeable and very competent but more importantly to me, she was very caring. Elizabeth consantly reminded me to focus on my children and not let the legal process get me down. Always available for any questions or concerns I had she took time to keep me updated and fully informed. I felt very confident with Elizabeth as my attorney. You can tell that Elizabeth has a good heart and really does care about justice. My experience with attorneys in the past was that I was just another wage packet. In my book, Elizabeth does this job for all the right reasons. If you want a competent lawyer with a heart, she's the one.

I searched for a lawyer that would represent a single father in a custody battle from Spokane (where I live), I didn't find many that wanted to take on an uphill battle like this, much less be willing to try the case in Okanogan County, and make the drive.
I got custody a couple of months after she started on the case, but Elizabeth is always just a "phone call away". I now know what it's like to have a friend that is a lawyer, she's there day or night, weekends too. Whenever I have a question, she's always just a phone call away. I don't know how she has time to take on other cases, and care about all of them the way she does, but I'm glad that I found her before my sons mom did! Elizabeth Rankin Powell

When my "amicable" divorce crashed and burned, Elizabeth stepped into the middle and got me though a very difficult period of my life. This is a person I truly trust and would recommend to anyone. She's capable and experienced in law but is also easy to talk to, which greatly relieved my stress level.

Elizabeth became my lawyer at a very difficult time for me. She was easy to talk to, explained everything that was going to happen and went way above and beyond. I will always be grateful for her kindness and for being a terrific lawyer. I was so happy regarding my dealings with her when my neice, who I love like my own child, needed a lawyer over a property matter I immediately recommended Elizabeth. To some people a review is how much did she charge for her services?, how well did she respond?, did she know her law?, etc.
Here's what mattered the most! I want to say that during the period of my divorce when my world seemed to be caving in around me, Elizabeth Powell did a remarkable thing with me and that was to remind me to stay focused on my children and not my ex wife. That was continually embeded into my head. "Stay focused on your kids" and where you want to live so the kids will adjust to the new lifestyle they've been thrown into. I will never forget that and today the relationship I have with my kids is stronger than ever. Thank you Elizabeth for getting me through a very difficult period! Words cannot express my gratitude. Elizabeth regularly goes the extra distance for her clients. She's been known to drive 300 miles to Spokane to help settle a child/infant custody case.
