About Me

David A. Kohles has been practicing in Washington state since 1977. He is an
experienced litigation attorney who has tried cases in multiple courts. His practice is
limited to representing injured people.

When a person is injured or has lost a loved one due to the actions of another they are
thrust into a system where denial is the first reaction. First there is denial for the loss, the
permanency of the loss or that it even has occurred. Then there is denial by the
responsible party and their insurance carrier. They know from experience that denial
will probably help them in the end. They also know that the injured does not always
know what to do but will innocently assume that someone will take care of them for
their losses. Taking responsibility for causing the loss and fairly recompensing the
injured party requires a system where the responsible party is held accountable.
Litigation, whether to the conclusion of trial or the settlement of a claim short of trial, is
that system.

David A. Kohles has over three decades of litigation experience. He has tried cases in
federal, state and administrative law courts. His results include numerous trial
judgements and settlements over a million dollars. David, Ted, and Becky Marlow, an
experienced legal secretary, handle each case personally to keep the relationship with clients personal. They help injured people understand and deal with their losses while
holding responsible parties, and their insurance carriers, to their obligations for losses they have caused.

  • Bradford James Fulton

I am the former President of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ), and have known David Kohles professionally as a fellow Snohomish County practitioner for many years. David fights for his clients and uses his may years of experience and skills of persuasion to achieve a resolution that is in the best interests of all of his clients. David regularly tries cases to juries that cannot be resolved via settlement due to the low-ball negotiation of so many insurance companies, and his willingness and success in doing so makes the insurance companies sit up and listen. Thus, whether it is a case that will be decided by way of negoitation, mediation, arbitration or trial, I fully endorse David Kohles to anyone needing a skilled, competent and honest personal injury attorney. David also does workers' compensation cases, helping ensure that injured workers and their familites receive the benefits that they are entitled to in their time of need. A++ guys also!
