John has been a proud Skagit County resident for nearly 30 years, graduating from Mount Vernon High School and earning his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Washington. John then attended the Seattle University School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2009, Cum Laude. During law school he served as an Associate Editor of the Seattle University Law Review and as a Board Member and Research and Technical Editor. In addition, he also worked as a Legal Intern with the Seattle law firm Ahlers & Cressman PLLC, focusing on real property and construction law issues and research. Upon graduating, he joined Shultz Law Offices as an Associate Attorney. He has since partnered with his father, John R. Shultz, where he represents clients in a variety of legal matters and litigation, including business, finance, contract, property, insurance, and bankruptcy law matters.
Outside of the office, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Kira, and children, Alex and Mikayla. As a family they enjoy skiing, boating, and golfing.
