Outcome: The Court unanimously overturned both the Bothell Court and the King County Superior Court on direct appeal.
Outcome: The Washington State Supreme Court unanimously ruled my client was denied a fair trial because the Judge refused to instruct the jury that a defendant who claims self-defense has "no duty to retreat" from an aggressor.
