About Me

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Patrick C. attended the University of Georgia, where he pursued a degree in political science and pre-law, graduating with honors (cum laude; Phi Kappa Phi). After college studies, Mr. Burpee worked in Kodiak, Alaska, and while living there, assisted landowners and Alaska Natives with claims against Exxon resulting from the 1989 Valdez oil spill. He went on to study law and graduated from the Oregon School of Law in 1999.

Mr. Burpee's practice presently focuses on Fair Debt Collection in Washington State, after years of practice in the area of construction litigation, employment law, probate, and contracts. He routinely represents Washington consumers in Fair Debt collection defense cases. However, he also advises businesses throughout the Puget Sound region on creditor's rights and obligations.

An avid trail runner, Mr. Burpee has competed in marathons, multi-day relays and ultra marathons throughout the Northwest and Alaska. If you don't see him at his office, you may see him on the trails.

  • Jamie Mathey

I endorse this lawyer's work. I first met Patrick Burpee in 1999 when we were both working for a large downtown law firm. In 2003, Patrick saw the light and went out on his own to practice. Eventually, I too saw the light and started my own practice in 2011. Since then, Patrick and I have joined forces to successfully defend our clients’ business interests. Patrick has a keen attention to detail which accelerates his ability to find the best leverage for settlement negotiations. When he can’t resolve a matter through negotiations, his trial skills serve him well. I highly recommend Patrick Burpee’s legal services.
