I needed help with an illegal service and pending garnishment on a very a tight timeline as I was due be out of town and be garnished while I was out of town.
In a matter of minutes Edgar put me at ease; he explained the issue with the service, how it could be resolved, and had a plan to help me resolve the issue quickly. After a very brief consultation and action by Edgar I was able to go out of town with full confidence that the matter had been handled correctly and everything would be resolved in my favor.
Chris followed up both via voicemail and email letting me know the next steps and the final outcome.
From now on Edgar will be my go to attorney for all things debit and credit related. I will recommend him without hesitation, the experience was one the most positive I have had with any professional in a very long time, both Edgar and Chris are top notch and at the top of their game.

Edgar was wonderful to work with and I would (and have) wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone in need of a debt attorney. He walked us through everything and educated us as we went along. It was so nice to know that we had him on our side.

I was having an issue with a previous landlord who was attempting to withhold my security deposit without proper justification. I consulted Edgar on how best to proceed. He provided the consultation free of charge. In speaking with Edgar, it was clear to me that he is someone of high integrity. His advice was clear, straightforward, and extremely helpful. He even suggested ways to avoid generating legal fees -- he obviously had my best interests in mind. I do plan to retain Edgar's services in the future.

I had an urgent need for a lawyer to help me figure out what to do about a debt collection that had ended up with a court date that I was not prepared for. I called several lawyers in my area (Everett, WA) and I had to leave several messages - only one of those actually answered the phone and they were useless. None of the others returned my calls.
Imagine how relieved I was when I called Edgar Hall's office and was able to talk to an actual person!! I spoke with Chris, Edgar's paralegal, and was very impressed with her knowledge and understanding of the issue. Chris worked her magic and the next thing I know I'm on the phone with Edgar.
Edgar was very professional, and most importantly - honest with me. I met with Edgar's team the next day. Edgar's team reviewed my paperwork and gave me several options of how to proceed. Edgar also quoted me a price and not only did he stick by that amount, when we finished faster than expected, he refunded the unused portion of the money - I have never had a lawyer do that in the past for any reason.
Long story short, I believe Edgar and his team saved me a lot of money and heartache.
I've worked with a lot of lawyers over the years for other issues and I never felt like any of them were actually trying to represent my best interest. I always felt like I was nothing more than paycheck for them and that I could never really trust that I was getting the truth.
I cannot stress enough how easy it was to work with Edgar and his team. I would not hesitate to call Edgar's office again. If you have debt collection issues, I give Edgar Hall my highest recommendation.

I received a free consultation from Edgar after determining he might be the "one for me" from an extensive research project I concluded. Edgar's first line to me was, "You don't need me. You're doing fine on your own." He then proceeded to let me ask numerous questions, and he provided excellent guidance and feedback. Some of my issues were fairly complicated. Twice I offered to pay him for his help, but both times he deferred. He told me that if I had a case worthy of his chargeable time that he would advise me as such. Not often in this life do you come in contact with such honesty. Edgar is a professional worthy of your initial effort to contact him for his help. From there you can feel certain, as I do, that he will treat you with respect, honesty and personal care.

Edgar's Knowledge about the law and the practical application of the law, have proved to be a valuable tool in my personal case . But more important than that to me, was the fact that he cared ! he truly cared about me and my case, which is very rare . Another thing I appreciated about Edgar and his staff at Washington Debt Law PLLC. is the sage advice I got from them on which battles to fight and which ones to let slide ..... at least for the time being. Thanks Again Edgar !

I contacted Edgar for consultation. I didn't know what to expect and hadn't dealt with attorneys before so I was somewhat nervous. Edgar was very much to the point and honest about my situation. He was honest about how he could realistically help me. I felt as if he explained things in a way in which I could understand. He allowed me to ask questions as well and afterwards said I could call him back if I had more questions. To make the situation even better he offered the services of someone that might be able to help me. He told me up front what I could expect. Excellent and knowledgeable attorney!

Edgar Hall rapidly assessed my Chapter 7 bankruptcy situation. He advised me on near-term steps with creditors, the timing of my filing, and steps to follow post-bankruptcy. He kindly provided additional advice about whether I had any real case for False Certification for student loans. I would recommend him for his directness, his helpfulness, and his valuable experience from working on the banking-side of credit-issues.

Normally when I have looked for an attorney, I have to make sure they are active and knowledgeable in the required field. This takes time to call around, emailing multiple attorneys, until you find a truthful and expert opinion. Well this was the guy for my debt needs, and he was worth the money, he doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need. One last note, no lawyer could ever get 5/5 for being "Trusthworthy", they are lawyers afterall. There's always a little truth in a joke!

After 18 months of waiting to hear on a modification acceptance or denial from Bank of America and sending in our financial information five different times. Our loan was sold to Residential Credit Solutions (a secondary credit company owned by JP Morgan, that purchases bad loans) who almost immediately started the foreclosure process to take our home. They did not follow the laws as nor did Bank of America. All we wanted to accomplish was saving our home for we were not so far under as many. Also morally, it is right to pay for something we purchased. After becoming so discourage we contacted Avvo through a blog. An attorney from the South Puget Sound from this site (Avvo) turned me to Edgar Hall for assistance.
Meeting with Edgar within a week of contact (very quick response), it was the best money spent in this modification journey. Edgar did not rush us during the consult, which he had a partner in with us. He was very clear in ALL of our options and listened to what we wanted not just the easy fix. He provided us with a road to take to get a modification and a back up plan to save the home if that did not work. He also gave us a back up to the back up plan just in case. What a great knowledgeable and well attentive attorney.
We highly recommend Edgar Hall! God willing I don't need him again but, if I do you can put a guarantee. He has our business and everyone I come into contact with will equally get this great review of him.
