Scott is an Associate Attorney for the Seattle office of Graham Lundberg Peschel. He received his Juris Doctor in May 1994 from the University of Oregon. At U of O he was in the top 15% of his class while working as a full-time intern for the United States District Court for the District of Oregon.
Before law school, Scott worked as a paralegal. After law school, he worked as a Public Defender in Seattle. He represented clients on charges as varied as Robbery in the First Degree, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Complex Fraud cases, and Drug Charges. He has tried over one hundred cases, including a jury trial on a charge of Murder in the First Degree.
In 2000, Scott began working as a senior staff attorney at an insurance defense firm, where he handled cases involving automobile accidents, product liability defects, premises liability claims, defamation claims and commercial litigation. He was named a 2005 Washington Rising Star by Washington Law & Politics.
In May 2005, Scott started his own firm, specializing in personal injury and criminal defense. His personal injury practice included automobile and motorcycle accidents, trip and fall cases and product liability cases. His criminal defense practice included felonies and misdemeanors, including DUI defense, drug charges, sexual assault charges, and violent felonies.
Scott joined GLP in 2012 with extensive experience in personal injury work, as well as over a decade of hands-on courtroom advocacy.
When he is not at work, Scott likes to play piano and spend time with his family on Vashon Island.
