More than 25 years of law firm experience, assisting in a variety of litigation, family law and bankruptcy matters including state and federal court appeals. During that time I assisted as "second chair" on several civil, criminal and family law trials, and briefed several appeals to the Washington Court of Appeals and Supreme Court and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals including J.D. Tan, L.L.C. v. Summers, 107 Wn. App. 266, 26 P.3d 1006 (2001); In re Marriage of Kahle, 134 Wn. App. 155 (2006); Phasavath v. Haggerty (59807-4-I, unpublished decision, 2008). Accepted into WSBA Rule 6 Law Clerk Program in 2003, completed program in 2007, admitted to practice in 2007. Currently serving on WSBA Law Clerk Board and Camp Long Advisory Council. Recognized as a 2010 "Rising Star" by Washington Law & Politics Magazine. Hobbies include hiking, alpine scrambling, rock climbing, mountaineering, adventure travel, playing baseball, writing, photography, and music. Author of several outdoor hiking and climbing guide books; formerly a correspondent to several outdoor magazines.
