As we went through the bankruptcy process, we found Zeshan not only to be highly professional, very knowledgeable, and quick to respond to our various questions, but also genuinely caring, patient, and kind. He would be the first person we would call if we were ever in need of legal assistance in Seattle again, and we would happily recommend Zeshan to our closest family and friends.

Anne and I are happy to write this recommendation for our attorney, Zeshan Khan, J.D., LL.D.
Our home was about to be sold because of late payments due to our store closing and medical bills, a common problem in current America. We turned to Zeshan, a neighbor who I knew from our business. He took time to brief us on the bankruptcy process and all it particulars using plain language and charts. After thinking about it, we hired Zeshan to represent us.
Throughout the long and nervous process Zeshan personally:
1. Held our hand when needed
2. Had a positive and pleasant demeanor
3. Rapidly responded to phone and email inquiries.
In dealing with the legal system, Zeshan:
1. Helped us decide whether we should file under Chapter 7 or Chapter 13
2. Was frank and up-front with the facts and chances of Plan acceptance
3. Knows the bankruptcy legal system
4. Is able to work the system
5. Helped us develop our answers to the questionnaires from the court
6. Actively anticipated and dealt with potential outside objectors to our Plan
Zeshan was an advocate for us at all time, for which we are grateful.
Sincerely,
Anne
Michael

By the time we ended up in Zeshan's office (by luck) our case seemed so complex and overwhelming to us. He was our fourth lawyer. I had already explained our situation so many times to different people in all its exponential detail and stressful emotion. I dreaded explaining everything again. On top of that I was becoming very jaded about the legal system and felt that sometimes our previous lawyers weren't fully listening. I was a bundle of nerves and doubt before that meeting.
We were very relieved to discover that 1). This lawyer was really listening and focusing right in on the important points through all the confusing mess of information 2). He seemed to care. It was obvious that the situation was truly upsetting to us and he didn't just blow that off. 3). He was really responsive- quickly answering any emails and letting us know what his thinking was on the next steps. For anyone in litigation who has lay awake at night wondering "what if" you know how important that is. 4). He is very good at his job. I'm not an expert but it seemed he was just handling the whole situation with ease while other lawyers didn't always. He can look at a quagmire of documents and listen to a tangential outpour of backstory and quickly cut to the chase- with a clear understanding and a good plan. We could breath a sigh of relief and know that someone very competent was going to help us. 5). He is actually affordable to real people going through a hard time.
Needless to say the outcome of the case was just what we had hoped for. I would highly recommend Mr. Khan to anyone in need of a lawyer and certainly use his services again. I only wish we had found him years ago!

Zeshan saved my case. I was using another attorney before, who was not responsive at all. The case was complicated and messy. After I read all the good reviews, I picked Zeshan. I feel those reviews are extremely helpful. I cannot say enough good words about him.
He is responsive, patient, and knowledgeable. I am glad that my case is in good hand. The divorce process is painful, but Zeshan is always there for me. He is patient to answer questions, offer advices, and negotiate with my ex. Some of his advices helped us resolve the case. Without him I probably ended up spending tons of money and time on a messy case. He is great to work with. I highly recommend him.

As the result of a recent divorce, a judgment was filed against me for a second mortgage on a foreclosed residence in another state. I had no idea who to contact and found Zeshan through a lawyer's referral site. Within two days of meeting him he had filed all the necessary paperwork needed to stop a writ of garnishment and also prepare and submit the bankruptcy petition. It was a very complicated situation and ultimately we decided to file for Chapter 7. Zeshan made me feel at ease in unknown territory and explained all the options and steps of the process as we went along. He is a compassionate, caring and non-judgmental person. He truly cares about his clients and always made sure that all my questions were answered. When he received the news that the debt had been discharged, I think he was as happy about it as I was! I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs to seek the assistance of an attorney. I am grateful and blessed to have met him and to have had him on my side through this stressful process.

Zeshan is an excellent lawyer, and great to work with. He’s very knowledgeable and skillful about the overall judicial process. He helped identify what needs to be done at first and took all the necessary steps. His warm, easygoing personality helped with the otherwise turbulent process of a divorce.
My case wasn’t very complicated but there were certain unknown factors that could’ve made it all very problematic. As a result, I was nervous and passive with my approach to the case at first. He reviewed all the factors and educated me about the different possibilities. While that didn’t eliminate the potential issues but it helped me assess the situation better. As a result, I was able to take better decisions about the choices I needed to make.
He always kept me informed about what was going on. His associates who helped out with the case at different point were also very skilled.

Zeshah helped us with a bankruptcy over 2 years ago. He is a type of lawyer who actually cares about your well being, your future, and treats you with respect and compassion. He handled our case professionally, but what I was impressed with was how reliable and responsible he was in after matters. Even after case was finished and all was done, whenever we had lingering questions, he was easy to reach, eager to answer and always reliable. Not only that, we felt that he genuinely cared about us and wanted to help. Unfortunately I have had not-so-good experience with other lawyers and I wish I had Zeshan take care of all our other legal matters. If anything else comes up in the future, I'd definitely go to him or recommend him to my friends without hesitation.

Zeshan handled my bankruptcy last year, happily discharged in January (yay!). He was recommended by a very discriminating and reliable source, so I had high expectations, which he more than met. Zeshan was prompt, professional, sympathetic, concise, practical, and very reassuring throughout the entire process. He gave me a good summary of my options and the pros and cons of filing for bankruptcy. He was great with simplifying and summarizing matters when I felt I was getting out of my depth. He also was fast on his end without pressuring me to hurry things up on my end--juggling the bankruptcy during busy times at work was a challenge, but he was never impatient. He was very good at giving me an idea of what to expect from the outset, and then periodically along the way. I certainly felt like he was "on my side" and not passing judgment, which was very welcome at a time when my finances and morale were at a low ebb. I have recommended him to coworkers considering bankruptcy and am confident that he would be capable, forthright, and a supportive and knowledgeable advocate for his client in any situation. I could not recommend him more highly.

Zeshan is someone that can be depended on during my lowest time. He is a true "light at the end of the tunnel", and not an incoming train" Seeks out responsibility and follows through, shares information clearly and concisely.
I'm totally grateful on knowing and working with Zeshan Khan.

I was feeling so down with my financial status and did not understand bankruptcy. Zeshan not only gave me facts about the process and how it could pan out (at no cost) but did not press me to make a decision or spend money when I was not sure. After months of thinking and no harassment, he was more than willing to assist me in the process. I am thankful for his help, time, and patience.

My divorce finalized very recently. As a completely biased participant in this process, it is perplexing how the court can arrive at "fair" financial conclusions that seem so heavily weighted against the husband/father--even in a short-term marriage such as mine. With that said, Zeshan did a great job of keeping me informed about the reality of the situation, and was always quick to sympathize AND empathize with me. He has the unfortunate experience to be able to do the latter. While he shared the rational assesment of the "truth," he by no means rolled over to a very stubborn opposing attorney. Zeshan was definitely on my side and working in my best interest at all times.
I had the unusual experience of having two different attorneys for my case--since I discovered late in the process that I could switch to an attorney in my "network" and save money. So I have the perspective to say the difference between an "ok" attorney and a "really good" attorney is very significant. Prior to teaming up with Zeshan, I was basically given the impression that, one way or another, I was likely going to get hit with financial responsibilities that I consistently shared (nobody seemed to really care) were beyond my means. Zeshan made it clear to the opposition that their proposal simply wasn't doable--and an alternative needed to be worked out.
Zeshan is very intelligent, great with people, quick, and an honestly good person. He was very knowledgeable of the entire process, and his experience showed. Amazingly, his service was more than reasonably priced as well. You cannot go wrong by choosing Zeshan to represent you.

I have had the honor of working with Mr. Khan recently regarding my divorce. I have found him to be a man of honor, highly knowledgeable about family law, personable, with great follow up. He calmed me in a time of great personal stress and helped me tremendously. I highly recommend Zeshan and I will use his services myself in the future. He is an excellent attorney and an honorable man to deal with.

A blend of compassion, assertiveness, tact and professionalism describe Zeshan and his legal practice. Personal bankruptcy could have been an absolute crisis, but working with Zeshan, I felt at ease. I felt confident because he has experience as well as a strong network of advisors on his side. I felt relieved to know that I could get the help I needed in a personal, caring and in-depth manner, not typical of large corporate firms. Zeshan took the time to explain all of the options to me in a language I could understand, and for that I am grateful for my fresh start. I would not hesitate to recommend Zeshan to anyone.

After being dropped from 2 other attorneys, I was referred to Zeshan for my divorce/custody case in 2007-2009; I first met with Mr Khan just a few weeks before my case went to trial April 2009, I was desperate for help. At first, he seemed professional; then very personable, knowledgeable and helpful, as he took on my case with just a portion of the remaining retainer from a previous attorney. I was amazed with his generosity and honesty; Zeshan made me believe that attorneys can have dignity, after another firm had pulled off my case in August 2008, in the midst of mediation and hearings with a difficult opposing attorney; the previous firm abandoned me and my children, with no referrals to go on. Thankfully I found Zeshan Khan last year, and he helped settle the difficult case with skill and compassion.
