His practice addresses plan and trust design, prudence and avoidance of conflicts in asset management, and benefit administration. His experience includes governmental audits and ruling requests, party in interest and prohibited transaction exemptions, plan mergers, plan asset/QPAM operating entities and advocacy in complex litigation. He has had cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and various federal district courts representing plans and fiduciaries.
