ROBERT S. KLEIN is a partner at Short Cressman & Burgess. He co-chairs the firm's Business Practice Group.
In his 33 years of practicing law, Mr. Klein has acquired broad experience in litigation, business and real estate. His current practice focuses primarily on representing business owners and real estate developers, lenders and contractors. In complex commercial and residential real estate transactions and planning, Mr. Klein deals with purchases and sales, title and title insurance questions, tax-deferred exchanges, reorganizations, financing, refinancing, loans, loan workouts, foreclosures, landlord and tenant matters, leases, permits, design, construction, and land use planning. His real estate dealings have included retail/office centers, office buildings, commercial land development projects, residential plats, apartment buildings, restaurants, service stations, road improvements, and hotels.
