I had a hit and run citation. Jacey Liu took my case and she understood that my citation was unfairly given. She went out of her way to make sure that I was treated fairly and ultimately had my case dismissed. Throughout the entire time she kept me well informed and I felt that she was whole heartedly invested in my case. I am truly grateful for Jacey and would recommend her to anyone anytime. Callahan Law definitely has some of the best attorneys! Thank You!

When I thought all hope was lost and had so much stress on my shoulders, I came across Linda's site. I contacted them right away for my DOL hearing and DUI. Her office staff, amazing! Very knowledgable, seem to have the answer to every question, and not to mention reinsuring everything will be taken care of. I can't count how many times I called or emailed with questions. They always got back to me in a timely manner.
My arraignment was nerve racking since I had never been in trouble before. Every time I felt like nervous Linda reinsured me it'd all go smoothly. Which it did. My second, and final, court date was a bit more nerve racking since I don't do well with speaking in front of a crowd. I stumbled over my words a couple times, but other than that everything went smoothly.
I cannot thank Linda (and office staff) enough for helping me through this stressful, nerve racking, and scary time in my life. Not only was my DOL hearing won, but my DUI was reduced down to a Negligent driving.
I've already told a friend about Linda's office for a speeding ticket.
Once again, I cannot thank you enough for helping me through this hectic time!

They were helpful, friendly and understanding. I did not feel overwhelmed or judged. They were very forth coming with what was going to happen and resolved the issue very quickly. I worked with them from out of state but I always felt that I knew what was happening with my case.

I hired this attorney and I never saw her at all through my whole court case, I think they just use her as a gimmick, so people will use this company. The first court hearing was put off because the attorney wasn't present and another attorney substituting for whomever suppose to have been there. A month later the attorney that was representing me showed up that they said is taught by Mrs. Callahan. In court I didn't know really what to expect because one attorney told me one thing for the first court hearing and then on the next court hearing it was something else. I felt so lost, and at that point I wish I had went with the public offender which I had talked to earlier a month prior to any of my court hearings, he stated that he could have the sentence lowered. Which I think I mess up because I should of just talk to him a little more and then made an decision. Anyway on the second court hearing, the attorney( I don't know what to say about her) I felt rushed in to my decisions and the judge talked for her. At what got me was that "she to him well I guess that it you said everything for me". The judge response was I never saw you before and I know all of the other lawyer, so I usually let them talk. And at that very moment I know I had f+&$ed up. I also lost my license for 90 days. My first offense, .09 blow and my last offense. Good Luck

In a snapshot, I was absolutely shocked to receive in the mail a pending charge of DUI after I was in a single car accident and underwent a seemingly unassuming police interview in the ER. Throughout my court process, a) I felt embarrassed thinking "she's heard this all before, but it's TRUE;" b) I was always on the verge of wanting to belt out the inadequacies of the prosecutor's case. Linda was always empathatic and calm, but firm in reminding me of the balance between defense and prosecution (if you're ever in this unfortunate circumstance, she will also tell you the details). I am in a "profession" as well, a DUI could be devastating to my career and personal future. Linda was able to able to point out the inadequacies of my case in an objective, "non-finger-pointing" way by ways of her own professional research and expert verification. In the end, my case was dropped from DUI charges to Negligent Driving.... normal license (no SR22 insurance), only bench probation w/ normal court fines ( if no criminal charges for 2 years, my case is officially dropped to negligent driving). I wish this experience upon nobody. I've never had any charge of any sort before and I'm going on middle aged. I had no idea what the process was or how to go about things. Linda guided me personally and took charge professionally. She is absolutely the best personal defense lawyer you can hire.

Linda,
When I had lost hope, you were there to remind me that we are all human. I showed poor judgement one night but I didn't feel as if I had broken the law. You performed like a surgeon from the beginning. I highly recommend you to those that may find themselves in a similar situation.
Thank you,

Linda Callahan & her staff are THE BEST...I can't emphasize enough...just how superb Linda's representation is. My DUI case occurred in Thurston Co....one of the toughest counties in the state for DUI's. Linda's defense was persistent, tenacious, and always professional..She was able to get me a plea bargain and a lesser charge; for that...I am extremely grateful. You will not find better representation than at Linda's office, anywhere in WA. Don't hesitate to get the VERY best attorney to defend you. Call her office, her staff will take excellent care of you !

Amelia Champion (working under Linda Callahan) did her best to review the case, keep me informed, write the motions, come prepared and fight hard in court. Unfortunately, despite her efforts, the judge found that I committed the infraction.

Thank you for the wonderful level of service. I am again very pleased with your level of professionalism and keeping me informed throughout the process. It means that world, and I cordially appreciate it. I've dealt with too many attorney who perform exceptionally until after the point in which I signed the contract, so it's a stark contrast. I'm an indeed a satisfied client. Should I need legal services again, I will seek you out. And I will send referrals your way as opportunities arise.

I hired Linda Callahan & Associates for my dui and DWSL to represent me after my previous lawyer didn't do much to help me. They communicated with me every step of the way and kept me informed on important issues, and gave me the steps I needed to take to get it done the right way. Amelia assured me of everything that was going on and was on time and efficient in all her work! I appreciated everything that they all did for me and would hire them again on the spot ( if I ever needed to again). I reccomend Linda, Amelia, and everyone at Linda Callahan and Associates to anyone who needs the best dui defense attorney!

I was involved in a very scary situation for anyone...A DUI, having something like that as a conviction can truely ruin someones life trying to get a good job. I hired Linda right away, I could not of made a better choice besides not getting into the trouble I did. Her staff is amazing, I really liked working with her assitant, Toni. Toni answered many of my 1,000 questions I had during the process and I cant say enough about her. Linda gave me a great rate "I did do my homework" and her price is very reasonable for what others offered. She gave me a set price for both the DUI side and DOL side. She kept me informed through the process and got it done quickly since I was really wanting to put this behing me. No DUI on my conviction record! YAY. I didnt blow in the BAC so I had a DOL hearing to go through. Not many cases are won from want I have heard and read online. Something like 60-70% lose thier case with the DOL, but Linda being the awesome lawyer she is, won that case and I don't have to have a 1yr suspended license. Again I cant say enough about you and your wonderful team of support, thanks Linda, Toni and Chirs!!!!!

I had a speeding ticket...It is the first time I ever had to deal with something like this. I decided to find a lawyer on line and was very happy when I walked into the office to meet very friendly personel who explained what I should expect and gave me advice on all I should do. My phones were returned promptly. On the day of the hearing the attorney was on time and explained to me everything that I needed to do. I was a bit nervous but she reassured me that they will do the best they can (which is all I expected). She was professional. I was thoroughly pleased with her representation, I could see lots of work went into representing me....Thanks

Last Thanksgiving I was returning home from a ski trip and got pulled over at the junction of the 70 to 60 mph speed limit change in the State of Washington. Being from another state, I needed a local attorney to represent me in traffic court. Callahan Law ably took my case, managed the paperwork, pleadings, and the subsequent satisfactory (from my point of view) outcome to the case. Her firm is first-rate, and I was pleasantly surprised to have Linda herself answer the telephone once when I called. Their work is first class, they know their business, and their fees are very reasonable.

So I was pulled over by a deputy hiding behind a bush on Highway 427 for doing 45 instead of 35 mph. Then I was caught with an expired registration tag (1 month late, and honestly I was/am getting old with dementia), and without a current insurance ID on my person (I left my current one at home, and like I said, age and dementia).
I went on AVVO and emailed 3 top-rated lawyers. Ms Callahan was quick to respond and proposed a rate to handle all 3 violations without additional add-on charges. In addition, she or her office handled all the paper works, and I did not have to do a thing, not even appearing at my hearing. I liked one-stop-shopping.
Lo and behold, she/her office struck a deal with the prosecutor dismissing 2 of 3 charges, including the moving violation for an acceptable fine for the remaining late registration tag charge.
So overall, I came out okay. i would have paid the same or more in total amount if I did not contest the ticket and just paid the fine for all 3 charges.
Let me say that while this sneaky cop/demented senior/court prosecutor/defending lawyer episode may be less spectacular than CSI or LA LAW, it was the highlights (or lowlights rather) of my half century law-abiding life. I was tormented by seemingly sneaky cops apparently waiting to lasso helpless tax-paying citizens like yours truly, instead of catching real criminals (the cop was wearing a body armor). I was relieved to be cleared of the more serious charge. I was hinting and hoping to get an apology from the cop, but apparently Ms. Callahan, as good as she was, can only do so much. If Ms Callahan could be my agent, I would like to write a book based on the true real-life story.

Ms. Callahan is an outstanding professional. From the moment I contacted her office (on a weekend), I received timely, courteous, and personal replies concerning every aspect of my case. I am impressed with Ms. Callahan's staff; her office manager is highly organized and communicates information both in writing and over the telephone at every juncture of the process. I was made to feel like a unique individual, not a faceless entity or case number; Ms. Callahan is both a compassionate human being and a formidable attorney who clearly has earned the respect of her colleagues and who is meticulous in her defense strategies. Ms. Callahan is very sensitive to the ways in which a legal case profoundly affects one's personal and professional life, and never fails to offer support and encouragement along the way. I am very happy with the outcome of my case and would highly recommend Ms. Callahan to anyone dealing with a DUI charge. I assure you that you will not be disappointed and will feel as though your money has been well spent.

Never a legal problem in my life...until...an irresponsible decision turned my world upside down. Linda Callahan and her employees listened, helped, sympathized and treated me with respect...something I had lost in myself. This was a professional group that knew what to do, what to say and knew how to treat a client who was already punishing themself more than any law could. When I first hired Linda, I thought it was expensive. As time went on, I learned that I was getting quality work at a practical price. Her services and minimal impact is well worth it. How do you properly thank people who pull you out of the gutter and don't let you forget that you are good person who made a terribly bad decision and that you will grow from it? I guess you can write a simple review and hope they understand the positive impact they have made on your life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I was charged with a neg 2 speeding ticket $550.00 , Linda had the charge reduced to a cell phone ticket with nothing going on my driving record the fine was reduced to $250.00 which was paid out of my retainer!I was extremely pleased!

A speeding ticket I received was way out of line, and I didn't want another ticket on my record. My efforts to contest other speeding tickets resulted in reductions in fines, but never dismissal. I reached out to this firm, received prompt and kind customer service, and ultimately the ticket was dismissed.
I got the outcome I wanted, hence the excellent rating. My only issue was once I submitted my paperwork to them I didn't hear anything more - until I received the letter in the mail that the ticket was dismissed. I would have welcomed a message or something a day or two before that it was being taken care of.

I recieved a summons from the Court in error. One phone call to Linda Medeiros Callahan is all it took. She had in taken care of. This was a "time sensitive" mater. I could hardly believe it. The responce from her and staff was incredible. Highly recommended.

Thanks to Ms. Callahan's expertise I was able to arm myself with the knowledge needed to impress the presiding judge to my favor. She poses everything one would want in a lawyer - tough, intelligent, knowledgeable and extremely professional - but, she also possess a lot of empathy and emotional support to help you through a tough time.

I got a speeding ticket and they got it totally dismissed. Didn't have to show up for court, pay any fines or deal with higher auto insurance payments. I will definitely use them again if I am unfortunate enough to get another speeding ticket! The attorney who handled the hearing was amazing - thank you Ms. Champion and Ms. Callahan!

I hired Callahan Law to handle a Tow Impound hearing which Ms. Callahan represented me on. She did an amazing job crossing the Trooper and Tow truck owner. Plus she won the hearing for me!!! I later heard that it is incredibly difficult to win these types of hearings. I was elated when I got my check in the mail from Washington State Patrol refunding my tow impound fee!

We obtained Linda's service for a family member's DUI arrest. I am very glad we did. She was exceptionally responsive and answer all questions that we have, and was able to reduce the charge to reckless driving. Throughout this difficult and confusing process I am very glad there's someone like Linda to guide us. While we don't plan to use her again (no more DUI), I highly recommend her to anyone.

Ms. Callahan and her office were very professional. She obtained detailed facts about my DUI case and I did everything she recommended. Linda had the DOL case thrown out completely (over the phone) and the King County case dropped to a reckless endangerment. I did not get a suspended drivers license, I did not have to pay for the special SR22 insurance and I did not have an ignition interlock added to my car. The results were definitely worth the cost.

My experience in working with this law firm was a very pleasant one. Although the circumstances and situation that required me to obtain the services of Linda Callahan were unfortunate (and disappointing) for me; her expertise, knowledge, and compassion were things that I felt very fortunate for. Linda is a very dedicated, hard working, and personable lawyer. She took much of the worry and anxiety out of this experience for me, and did her best to work towards the best outcome possible in my case. I would recommend her to anyone needing help with the embarrassing and shameful experience of getting a DUI/DWI. She is a wonderful lawyer. Also, the staff at her law firm were just as patient, helpful, and compassionate as Linda herself. Marisa, one of the paralegal assistants, always took the time to thoroughly answer any questions that I had and walk me through the different processes that I was involved in. Overall, this is a great law firm and lawyer to work with.

Due to her experience and hard work I was even able to beat a refusal to take the Blood Alcohol Test. Which would have been an automatic 1yr suspension. When all other lawyer said it couldnt be done. Linda got it done for me. I highly recommend her.

I spent a grueling 16 months in the Seattle court process. I watched dozens of Attorneys do little or nothing for their clients. Linda fought by every means available on my behave, and I never left the courtroom without complete confidence that the sharpest Lawyer in the room had been standing next to me. She knows her business well, and I was delighted with the outcome.

My license did not get suspended, all I had tp do was pay a minimum fine. She and her staff were very knowledgeable. They help me through the whole thing.
If you are looking for a GREAT lawyer, no need to look further.
Thanks very much Ms. Callahan

Truly a professional law firm. No question went unanswer. Marisa in fthe front office is outstanding. Linda is an exemplary lawyer. The first thing she did was get a change of venue from district court to municipal court. Linda got me a one year continuance which will reduce my DUI to recless driving. My DOL hearling Linda got an order of dismisall, because the evidence was insufficient to support all the issues.

After searching online through numerous attorney websites, I came across a website with a video clip, so I watched. Linda's video prompted my calling them and once on the phone it was all down hill from there. Linda was very patient and was a great person that listened and was VERY empathetic with how I was feeling and why. After my first face to face meeting with my attorney, I had all the confidence in the world that they were going to fight tooth and nail for me. Which he did and I was granted a 2 yr continuance.
These attorneys are very had working, they know their stuff and will make your case their commitment , rather than just another case. They are very personable and really excel in their performance and follow through, even Marisa surprised me when I called a few weeks ago to check on my court stuff as the end of my 2 rs was coming up and she remembered who I was. These guys are all top notch and if you want REAL help with your situation, I would highly suggest looking into Callahan Law. They my not be the least expensive firm out there, but by god, you will definitely be glad that you have them on your side.
I wish them all the best and am sorry to say that I hope I never have to work with them again, because this Law Firm was probably the best customer service experience in my life, yet I do not wish to experience another legal matter in order to get the same level of service again.
**All thumbs up to Callahan Law**

Linda and her staff (esp Marisa!) did a great job, both in the courts and with the DOL. My charge was reduced to reckless driving, and DOL gave me back my license. I was very happy with the entire experience... well, maybe "happy" is not the right word under the circumstances, but Linda's handling of the legal aspects of the situation was outstanding. Highly recommended!

Of course, no one wants to go through this experience, unfortunately we all make mistakes and sometimes they result in needing an attorney. I chose Linda from a recommendation from an acquaintance who was in the process of using her. My first glowing comment is for Linda's office staff, all of them were very helpful, and answered all of my questions on that first phone call. My second compliment is for Marisa who I believe is the office manager; I must have called or emailed her at least a couple of dozen times with questions or concerns and she was very patient and kind and was always willing to take the time to help me. Linda her self is a presence in the courtroom, she walked in and I thought "okay, I have the right attorney and the best one here". You can tell she is very confident in what she is doing which in turn of course makes you feel much more comfortable. Essentially she 'got me out of' the entire thing. She reduced my DUI to reckless driving with some fines, but the most important part that impressed me the most was her work with the DOL. When you get a DUI it is standard to lose your license for a short period of time and following the return of your license you will have to get SR-22 insurance which costs a bundle. Everyone told me, and I was fully ready to lose my license when one day I recieved a call from Linda herself telling me that was not the case- SHE HAD COMPLETELY GOTTEN ME OFF THE DOL PORTION OF THE DUI. In fact that day I got home and receieved a letter from the DOL that stating something to the effect that 'the officer was found to have insufficient evidence to have arrested me for a DUI'. What wonderful news and all because of the Callhan Law team. I would always recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in this situation, you will be very happy with the outcome-with a communicative and professional team like the Callahan Law team who wouldn't be?

The county I live in is known as the toughest on DUIs in the state, and perhaps the country. The Prosecuting Attorney ardently refused to consider another course of action regarding my case and would not consider plea barging. Linda’s investigatory and administrative staff went to work on my case immediately. The investigators were unbelievably meticulous. They interviewed the arresting officer and analyzed every aspect of the case.
Linda submitted the legal brief and waited. On the day of the trial, the prosecutor requested a meeting, and agreed to reduced the charge from DUI to negligent driving. The judge hearing the case remarked that the legal brief was masterfully written.
Linda and staff provide impeccable legal service.

I would like to express my appreciation towards Linda Callahan who represented me on my recent criminal charge. I arrived to court and observed several attorneys with their clients approach the bench and appear slightly confused and disorganized about their cases. The judge rolled her eyes several times at the lack of professionalism. The scared looks on their client's faces showed me they also noticed their attorney's lack in professionalism.
When my case was called, Linda had already conferred with the prosecutor and approached the bench with factual statements that expedited my case professionally, quickly and expertly. I felt very relieved that I was represented by such a strong court presence. Seeing other attorneys handle their cases made me extremely grateful that I was represented by Linda. Not to mention she got my criminal charges dismissed and reduced to an infraction.

Linda Callahan and her staff Marisa and Allison represented me on a DUI case with unbelievable results. Linda is a straight shooter and never sugar coated or misled me in any way. I could instantly see that her presence in the courtroom is highly respected. Her well-educated arguments came from every angle imaginable, which helped me win my DUI case. She also represented me in my DOL hearing and won that case too. I was more than relieved to keep my drivers license.
Linda's fees were MORE than reasonable. Personally, I think her fees should be far greater.
Initially my thoughts were jail time, license suspension and outrageous fines all leading to the loss of my career. As I nervously voiced these concerns to Linda's staff they gave me the reassurance that things will be ok in a very pleasant and professional manner. I quickly began to calm down and think more clearly about my case and the journey ahead. Marisa and Allison are very knowledgeable in their field and handled everything I needed outside the courtroom quickly and precisely.
On a side note: During my final court appearance, I truly felt sorry for the defendants that were called before me that were represented by court appointed attorneys and unprofessionally dressed attorneys. Some with first time offenses similar to mine taking plea bargains with huge fines, mandatory jail time and vehicle interlock devices, but that didn’t stop me from walking out with the biggest smile on my face after winning my case, thanks to Linda!
If your looking for a top-notch attorney that keeps up with the most current issues in DUI defense I highly recommend Linda Callahan and her staff.

At a pretty low point in my life about six months ago, I had the good fortune to retain Linda Callahan to defend me on DUI charges. Throughout the process, she and her staff expained the steps, assessed the likely outcomes, and kept me fully informed of developments, deadlines, and appearance dates. Best of all, she obtained for me an excellent result that has kept my driving privileges intact, and the overall costs manageable. Defending oneself against a DUI charge is a pretty miserable experience, but Linda and her staff made the process, if not pleasant, at least survivable.

Ms. Callahan and her staff helped me through the worst experience of my life.

Lawyer’s Comment:
Out of 47 reviews, this is the only one with less than 5 stars overall. So something went very wrong in your opinion, and for that I am very sorry. Please call to discuss this, as I want to make things right with you. It is extremely rare for us to have a dissatisfied client.
I personally strategize, investigate and negotiate every case my Firm handles. There is always the option to request that I personally appear at every hearing; there was no such request in your case.
The reduction we obtained for you to a Negligent Driving is one most of our clients are very happy to obtain.
Finally, I am sorry you felt rushed, but we were under the impression you were moving out of state a couple of weeks after your court hearing and a continuance would have been a great inconvenience to you. Again, please call so that I can fully communicate my regret that your experience was not excellent as it has been for all our other clients.
Warmest regards,
Linda Callahan
