I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. I love the region, and the people who live here. I feel strongly that all people should have equal access to justice. I am committed to making a difference in the areas of criminal and family law. Having seen how hard divorce is on children first hand, I was inspired to try and be a catalyst for change in this area, making sure that the needs of children are focused on as well as their best interest. Without the proper plan being in place, children can be forever damaged and scarred by divorce emotionally. As someone who was a prosecutor for over 13 years, I know the way the legal system works. I've also educated on trial techniques and advocacy. I know how to fight hard in the court room. In fact, there is nothing I love more than a jury trial. I have a proven track record of results.
I think we have a duty to improve our community by making a difference in whatever way we are best capable, which is in large part why I became an attorney.

I tried many cases against Jennifer when I was a public defender with The Defender Association and she was with the King County Prosecutor's Office. I found her to be highly professional, fair-minded, and a formidable adversary in the courtroom (full disclosure--I lost more cases against Jennifer than I won). She had a keen sense for the strengths and weaknesses of her cases and a talent for weeding out the cases she saw were appropriate for negotiation and taking to trial the cases that demanded a stiffer punishment. It is my pleasure to endorse Jennifer.

Ms. Miller is an extremely skilled trial lawyer. Working with her in my years as a DPA, I was continually impressed with her skill, work ethic, and commitment to justice. Her preparation and commitment to knowing the details of the law are also exceptional. I endorse her in any litigation context without hesitation.
