I hired Aaron kiviat for my Felony DV case. He was always there to answer any questions I had either by phone or e-mail. I felt quite confident in his knowledge as an attorney. I was charged with a 4th degree assault in Washington state for a confrontation with a guy in my own home. I researched the charge and found that the state was the one pressing charges against me not the person that I had the confrontation with. I began interviewing many different defense lawyers and wanted to find someone that could truley represent me and get this blemish off my record. When I interviewed Aaron Kiviat, I knew right away that he was the "pitbull" that I needed to standup for me and my rights. He was very professional, understanding, and knowlegeable about my case. In a short amount of time, Mr. Kiviat was able to settle my case and have the 4th degree assult charge taken off my record. I highly recommend Mr. Aaron Kiviat for a criminal defense Layer.

Aaron Kiviat handled several cases for us recently. The charges brought against my son were VERY serious. In all, there were 4 felonies
and a couple of misdemeanors. The stress on our minds was unbelieveable! We looked for a quality attorney to help with the charges. After speaking with Geoff and being directed to speak to Aaron regarding the charges we met and have been nothing but impressed and VERY pleased with the representation we recieved since. Aaron has brought us honest and realistic advice. The outcomes on my sons cases have been unbelieveable. With several of felonies being dismissed completely and the other reduced to a misdemeanor. My son is 18 and I could not have imagined getting better legal representation and outcomes. If I or anyone I know was to look for legal representaion the first thing I would tell them is to call Aaron Kiviat, and Law office of Geoffry Berg. Aaron came extremely well recommended from friends. From the beginning, he was extremely compassionate, non-judgemental, and knowledge. He took the time to listen to my situation, explain the legal system, and provided me an idea of the best and worse-cased scenario.
No one expects or is quite prepared to deal with the legal system, and Aaron made the whole process very manageable and understandable. He is always professional, providing each of his clients/cases the deserving attention and always punctual -- in fact, he is the type of lawyer that will show up early to court to make sure you are able to leave court in a timely manner. I was charged in a county in Eastern Washington, but I live in Seattle. I called at least 30 Seattle attorneys to ask for advice and I was prepared to pay a retainer with any attorney that I felt comfortable with. Aaron Kiviat returned my call immediately and set an appointment to meet. After calming me down, Aaron explained my options based on the evidence, and suggested that it may be in my best interest to research reputable defense attorneys working in the county that I was charged in. Straying from many of the greedy Seattle attorneys that I had spoken with, Aaron selflessly pointed me in the right direction. Aaron Kiviat is honest, extremely knowledgeable, unpretentious, and caring. I would trust is integrity as my attorney any day.

Aaron is an incredibly thoughtful and supportive attorney at the same time that his extremely effective skills in the courtroom and extensive knowledge of the law are able to help those in need. There are many people out there that find themselves caught up in the system accused of being guilty that are in fact not at all. I would recommend Aaron to anyone that ever needs a lawyer. He was highly proficient at keeping me well informed of every detail in my case. He also jumped on board to help me on short notice. I was told of the possibly things that could happen in any which way the case would turn, and that was very comforting to know what you were facing. The law can be very confusing so its good to have someone who can answer any and all questions about your specific situation. In my personal experience I had a sense of relief to have someone that took such a good interest in my concerns of the case. Aaron worked quickly to insure the positive outcome of my case.
