Kenneth E Payson

Ken Payson’s practice focuses on class action defense, other complex commercial litigation and appellate work, particularly with respect to claims under Washington's Consumer Protection Act and other consumer protection laws. He has defended more than two dozen class actions for clients such as Microsoft, State Farm, HSBC and USAA, obtained numerous orders dismissing putative class actions and successfully defended them on appeal. Ken also has broad experience representing clients in product liability, licensing, contract, insurance coverage, securities, employment and intellectual property cases. He formerly headed the complex commercial litigation practice group for the Seattle office of Heller Ehrman LLP.
