I try to be a "family lawyer". That is, not one that just practices family law (divorces, custody, etc.). But rather , one that represents families in almost all of the problems that they encounter in day-to-day living. My areas of practice include landlord/tenant, real estate purchases and sales, wills, trusts, probates, DUI defense, criminal defense, family law, bankruptcy, debtor/creditor, small business incorporation, general litigation plaintiff and defense.
I have a strong moral and ethical foundation, and believe that, as a professional, I have an obligation to my clients, myself, and society as a whole. I also personally believe that it is unethical and unprofessional for attorneys to advertise unless that advertisement itself aids or educates the general public about the law, not just the individual attorney.
I have represented families for more than thirty years and am only aware of one client in that time that expressed any dissatisfaction with my work. I believe in placing the client first and resolving their problems in any appropriate manner. This may be something as simple as conversations, or utilizing any alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation, arbitration, collaboration, or it may involve court litigation Federal or State.
