Woodinville v. Juzeler

Case Conclusion Date: 09.20.2012

Practice Area: Criminal Defense

Outcome: Dismissed With Prejudice

Description: Defendant was charged with DUI. City used a blood draw to prove Defendant was "affected" by drugs while driving. Defense moved the court to suppress all evidence based on an illegal stop, detention, and seizure of the Defendant. On motion, the court ruled the City lacked a legal basis to stop Defendant's vehicle for investigation of possession of an illegal drug and for community caretaking reasons. Court ruled all evidence suppressed and dismissed the case on motion from the Defense.
