Robynne Thaxton Parkinson

My practice is focused on both construction and employment.  However, I have spent the last decade or so becoming an expert in the field of construction integrated services, specifically the design build and construction manager models of construction delivery.  I am heavily involved with the Design Build Institute of America, and I sit on both their Contracts Task Force and the Education Committee.  The Contracts Task Force consists of a handful of nationally recognized experts in the DBIA contract form, the most widely used design build form.  Our mission is to review and revise the current forms and draft new ones.  I am the primary drafter of the newly created BIM Addendum for the form documents.   The Education Committee designs and updates the educational courses for DBIA and serves as the "knowledge base" for the organization.
