This attorney has some serious problems with ethics. He was a prosecutor for Kirkland, when he actually made up a malicious story and prosecuted me for something that he knew I never did. He supervised the police to try to read something I wrote to myself that I taped to a lamp over my sewing table five feet from my back bedroom window inside my own home, and used an 880mm telephoto lens camera to try to read it from half a foot ball field away. I think that is called an illegal search. He still couldn't read it but I told the corrupt Ombudsman what I wrote thinking it was not a crime to write an affirmation to myself inside my own home. He made up a story that I waved a sign out my back window at my neighbor, which I never did. He arranged all the lies for the complaint and the trial. His friend said he wanted to keep his job with the city and had to do what the city mayor and city council told him to do.
I am the "Tara is Satan's Slave" case, which Tarvin prosecuted in order to please the Mayor and the City Council to cover up their racketeering in selling land to people they knew already owned it and pocketing the money. The mayor and council was knowing co-conspiritors, as was my Senator who told me to shut up and move out of the city.
He is the worst of the worst, and has no integrity and his character is not to be trusted.
This is the extreme example of prosecutorial misconduct. He is a schemer and a lair.
He will do whatever he needs to do to gain personally and apparently has no belief in God. He will make deals with criminals to give false testimony, at least two in this case one a shop lifter and another whose son was being charged with theft and escaping police after arrest, arrange for police to lie when under oath in court, and to treat an upstanding citizen with never a traffic ticket like a criminal at their worst. He will continue to pursue you afterward to cover up his dirty deeds.
Problem is that the Municipal Judge was in on the whole thing and it was collusion. That is why they have municipal courts and the judges get bonuses annually for doing the cities bidding. A
Superior court rewarded my attorney, John Stocks, with a judgement against me for $70,000 for his representation for a civil misdemeanor for four months duration and losing by holding back evidence that would have exonerated me. Yes, it was collusion at it's ugliest.
I was denied discovery and the ruling was made in a summary judgement. This is all true, unfortunately. I wish it were not because it has been very traumatic.

Kevin represented me on for the second time. A completely different type of case from before. His fees were the same as a year ago so that was good. I was very happy with th outcome of my case and would recommend him to you if you have a dui or dv case.

I had never hired an attorney before. Tarvin came highly recommended by a co-worker of mine. I received my first DUI. I couldn't believe it. I will forever thank my friend. Tarvin was amazing. At the initial meeting he explained what to expect from court and the Department of Licensing. The licensing hearing went great. My DUI case was changed to Negligent. So far, no problem with my insurance. Kevin was great the whole time.

I would not use this lawyer if i were you, please do research before you consider this gentlemen. He represented me in a civil case, and i paid his one time flat rate fee of $2500, which he took from me graciously. He claimed he had all this knowledge of cases like mine and sorta hinted of the outcome before he even started my case. To bring a long story short, the day of court went all wrong, he wasn't prepared for my defense. the other party won,of coarse. Then he took off like a cowboy in the sunset, never to be heard from again. He was very difficult to get a hold of. Don't hold your breath waiting for him to return any of your calls in a timely manner!! Because you will turn purple and Die!!

I hired Kevin D. Tarvin in Bellevue Washington to defend me in a none traffic related criminal issue. He took $3000.00 from me and did nothing! Not only he was unable to speak comfortably in front of juries, he did not even present any of the important evidences that I had provided him to prove my innocense.
