After my son was struck by a car while riding his bike, I put together a checklist of what needed to be done (I'm an engineer who tends to view everything in life as a process). Step 1: nurse child back to health. Step 2: forgive offender. Step 3: save receipts and submit them to the proper insurance company for payment. As my wife and I began executing this plan, we started realizing the challenges we were running into. Our son's injuries were more than skin-deep. Bones and joints take time to heal - time filled with more physical therapy appointments and the cost associated with them... and then came the insurance companies. Insurance companies are businesses. No matter how benevolent a company's values and policies are, in the end they are in business to make a profit and will, therefore, work to keep their costs as low as possible. At this point, my wife and I decided to focus our efforts on our son's recovery and hire an attorney to deal with everything else. Todd perfectly handled this side of the process for us. All the phone calls to our home from doctor and hospital billing offices stopped. The calls from insurance companies stopped. Having Todd work for us took a huge load off our backs. It was more than that though. He played a role that we would have overlooked. He was an advocate for our son. As parents, we worked to get our child back to health and to be reimbursed for the bills that we paid, but we overlooked the discomfort our son had been through and the potential for future, unforeseen costs resulting from his current injuries. Todd reminded us that he represented our child and worked for what was best for him. I hope we never again have a major injury to deal with. However, if we do, I will make, "call Todd Taylor" part of the process right from the start.

We had a great experience working with Todd Taylor. Todd took care of everything, and we really appreciated not having the insurance companies calling us anymore! I would recommend calling Todd if you need an attorney, he did a great job for us.
