I have worked with John on a number of cases, and I always look forward to the next one. I cannot say enough good things about him. While it is our job as attorneys to advocate the positions of our clients, it does not mean that we can't be civil to opposing counsel. John embodies the professionalism, advocacy skills, and confidence needed to conduct oneself in such a way. Whenever I see John as the opposing counsel to one of my cases I breathe a sigh of relief because I know the encounter will at least be pleasant (regardless of whether he obliterates my client's case at hearing).
