Its been four years now, and have only 12 mos to go on our chapter 13, 5yr plan, were still in our house. Two of my children are married, im saving for retirement, sparing you all the jargon and details, life happens, and Cal helped us pull through, very happy with outcome, we have modified our mortgage, payed our taxes, and even went on a vacation. Now our transmission went out, what gives? Nobody, need to look ahead and keep plowing forward, there are better days ahead. .

My husband was being garnished & having cancer, I was unable to work & our bills went out of control, so we were hurting in a desperate way.
Cal Knickerbocker literally saved us from being put out on the streets. He not only acted fast in stopping the garnishment, but he knew we couldn't afford legal help at the time too, so he took our case anyway, making arrangements that we could work with.. His concern was us. If you lost faith in lawyers, I can tell you that Cal Knickerbocker is a trusted one in his field. He went above & beyond for us. He was quick to respond, knowledgeable & kept us informed every step of the way. Thank you isn't enough for all he has done for us. So I share our story with you, If you need someone you can trust, who will go the extra mile for you; someone you can count on, we highly recommend him. I guarantee you will not regret it, & I know with him as your lawyer, you will be able to sleep well at night. Our gratitude goes to Calvin A. Knickerbocker. For all he's done & the standard he lives by.

Cal filed my chapter 7 Bk assuring me that my 2006 state tax debt would be included in my bk.. after it being discharged and the state of oregon reporting a judgement for the 2006 taxes, I was told by the state that my tax debt had survived the bk?? After trying to contact Cal, who said he would look into the matter, I never received response. And now I have $3,000 of state of oregon taxes owed, that I was told would be included in the bk. I do not recomend this lawyer or the company he works for. They do not return calls, they do not answer your questions, they are fast to take your money though. Thats about it.

I was not pleased. Once he got the check, I never spoke with him again. His colleague never really followed up on why my (now) wife's visa was denied. We did all the paper work.

I worked with Cal and his staff on a chapter 7. They kept me in the loop, let me know what was going on with my case and made sure I felt in control. Sometimes it was hard to get him on the phone the same day but I always got a call back or email within 24 hours; which is much better then most lawyers I've dealt with. Everything with my case went smoothly and the price was fair. I felt he and his team actually cared. I hope that I don't need another BK lawyer in the future but I would say that I would send my family there.
